Kali Barrett Kali Barrett 6'0" | SF Cardinal Mooney | 2025 State FL | 2025 | 6’0 F
Kali continues to show why she is at the top of the 2025 class. It’s likely that she will play on the top team as she projects as a Power 5 player that doesn’t look young playing with 2023’s or 2024’s. She has height, strength, and she scores the ball with ease. She is going to be on a ton of college coaches radars this summer.
Markeli Jones-Tynes Markeli Jones-Tynes 5'9" | PG Westminster Academy | 2025 State FL | 2025 | 5’9 PG
Markeli is another 2025 in Florida who I think already projects at the Power 5 level. She dribbles the ball low and makes huge strides when getting down the floor. MJT is strong when driving to the hoop and she finishes with contact. Her shot continues to improve and she isn’t missing any skill, so she will be a great player if she continues to sharpen and perfect all of those skills.
Azzariah Styles Azzariah Styles 5'6" | CG Plant | 2025 State FL | 2025 | 5’6 G
Azzariah got good PT as a Freshman at Plant, and she will be seen a lot this summer as a really impressive player in her class. Her ball handling is really nice with her crossover, ball control, and a wicked spin move. Z is able to create off the dribble which is huge at this level, and she does a great job of using her body to create space at the rim.
Kendall Kane Kendall Kane 6'0" | SF Beachside | 2025 State FL | 2025 | 6’0 G
Kendall reminds me of a player from the Midwest with how fundamentally sound she is. She’s long, has tremendous footwork, and soft hands that allow her to be a threat anywhere. Her ability to use both hands is fantastic, and she shoots it well too.
JoLesa Birkhead | 2025 | 5’7 G
JoLesa is a really smooth lefty that can push the ball up the floor in a hurry. She has a swagger about her that just exudes confidence that makes you think every shot she puts up could go in. Her jumper was one of the best I saw all day.
Jade Spivey | 2025 | 5’9 G
Jade was the best pure shooter I saw on Saturday. She has really pretty form and great rotation on her ball. Her motor was on 100 all day long, and she did a great job of communicating and playing hard on both ends.
Amaya Shaw | 2025 | 6’1 F
Amaya gives me serious J Byrd (Cardinal Mooney) vibes. Tall, lengthy, and athletic. She controlled the glass and protected the rim. If she fills out a bit more, she’s going to be one of the best post players in Florida’s 2025 class.
Kailani Merrell Kailani Merrell 6'0" | PG Spruce Creek | 2026 State FL | 2026 | 5’11 G
Kailani has really good size and length for her age. I was impressed with how crafty she was with both hands around the rim. She already has years of varsity basketball experience, so it was not surprise to see her stand out against players her own age. KK knows the game and if she continues to develop her game and her body, she will be a real problem.
Jazlyn Bowman Jazlyn Bowman 5'10" | CG Plant | 2026 State FL | 2026 | 5’10 G
Jazlyn is another player who has good size, length, and some varsity experience under her belt. She has been putting in the miles and time in the gym to really work on her craft. Jaz can really hit it from anywhere, and is going to be a really tough player in Tampa as she matures and grows. She also had the best sneakers on in the building with the Kobe Grinch’s!
Liliana Rosario | 2026
Liliana is a strong lefty with a really great frame. It’s impressive for someone of that age to finish with both hands, but she did it well around the basket with a decent mid-range game. She showed good energy all day long.
