Zaniyah Williams Zaniyah Williams 5'7" | PG Catholic HS | 2026 State VA (2026) anticipates passes on defense jumping into passing lanes and knocking the ball away making her opponents think twice about what they were trying to accomplish. She is fluid with the ball moving in and out of her defenders with ease. Her court awareness is beyond her years. She had a nice old fashioned three point play for her team. She was patient waiting for a screen to come as she went around and drained a three pointer.
Madison Nicholson Madison Nicholson 5'5" | CG Paul VI | 2026 State VA (2026, featured photo) handles the ball well protecting the possession as she moves up the court with speed. She hustles back on defense stopping fast break opportunities. She fought for rebounds, too, ending the possession for her opponents. Her defense was fun to watch making her opponents feel rattled every time they dribbled around her. She used the baselines as another defender effectively to derail her opponents. Her spin moves and speed made it seem like her opponents had to foul her to try to stop her path to the basket. She was showing patience feeling her defender using hesitation moves and crossovers to get by them and finish at the rim.
Jayda Dixon (2027) did a great job showing off her shot from the perimeter. She was patient when it came to creating space to show off her shot. She followed shots, too, to grab a rebound. Her fakes allowed her to drive inside the paint for some points. She was hard to guard on defense with her constantly moving. She translated some skills development from earlier in the day to the games with her pick and roll moves, and she knew how to move on the perimeter to show off her range. She hustled after loose balls, too, and she didn’t shy away from contact when she drove to the basket.
Charisma Hall (2027) showed off her range shooting from deep. She was quick getting up the court ready to catch a pass in transition. She knew how to tie up the ball if someone tried to dribble by her. She was blowing by her opponents showing off a nice finish at the rim.
