Jayden Golden (League City Sharks)
Golden is a GIRL with a bright future, she’s heady, plays within herself, and handles the ball well under pressure yet she also sees the floor and can score off the dribble as well as from the outside
Averie Aranda (Houston United 2026)
Aranda does some #THROWBACK stuff I love to see, like going after the ball off the rim, things you can’t teach are things I preach and since she did a good job using her height around the basket, let me drop that “nice upside” in the mix but she can mix it up and score well on putbacks
Kylie Garza (Premier DBK 8th Grade)
Garza mixes up her offensive attack nicely because not only does she score off the dribble, she also creates her shot well under pressure and knocks down the mid to long-range yet even with that, I loved watching her play the passing lane
Abby Simon (Premier DBK 8th Grade)
Simon SAYS watch out for the first step because it is deceptive and can get the defender to lean yet her ability to score off the dribble plus understanding how to create her shot was nice, so was her pull-up jumper which she knocks down while being defended
Tess Stephenson (Just Play 13U)
Stephenson also creates her shot well under pressure and her poise that has always impressed me so with her being under control, as well as playing within herself, she showed she could score off the dribble and finish after contact but that jumper looks nice as well
Bailey Burns (Just Play 13U)
Burns had me tweet “she BURNS the nets” a few years ago and I told her to use her size to take smaller defenders, she is yet I didn’t tell her to throw no looks with either hand
Lyla Delafosse (Just Play 13U)
Delafosse is long and athletic, hey that’s the base, and although she was playing up, you never would have known because of her “getting after it” like playing the passing lane yet she also can score off the dribble as well as drop the outside shot, including DEEP
Victoria Walton (TNBA 13U)
Walton is a competitor, she’s been playing up forever yet if you watch her mannerisms you would never know but know this, she is going to create some serious problems showing the game starts at the 1. I love writing “The Baby” no notes are needed because ball-handling and court vision are ahead of her years
Gi Gi Redinger (TNBA 13U)
Redinger showed nice hands and footwork around the basket, well I already knew that and she finished, knew that too but it’s the way she is finishing, with authority, that had me smiling, that and her defense, in and outside the paint
Sophie Mitchell (Lady Hustle 2026 Regional)
Mitchell score off the dribble nicely yet her finishing after contact was even nicer. She rebounded on both ends, scored on putbacks, and was solid defensively. I love her energy, well that as well as her upside
