Abby Duchscherer Abby Duchscherer 6'1" | CG Kindred | 2022 State ND – Kindred – (6’1/SG/2022) – MVP of the state tournament and for good reason. Abby averaged well over 20 points in the tournament and had more than 5 steals in each game. A true monster performance that she and the Vikings will remember for years to come. Abby showed why she was a legit D2 prospect at the tournament and anyone who questioned why she was the clear number 1 player in class b should be silenced by now. In the final day against Grafton Abby had a double-double dropping 25 points and grabbing 10 rebounds. Congrats to the Vikings of Kindred on an undefeated season and State Championship.
Terryn Johnson Terryn Johnson 6'1" | C Kindred | 2022 State ND – Kindred – (6’1/C/2022) – Terryn was on a tear in the Championship game. A player that for good reason is the number 2 player in the state just behind teammate Abby Duchscherer. Johnson is a fundamental monster for the Vikings and put on a clinic of efficient basketball ending the game with 21 points and 8 rebounds shooting a high 9-12 field goal percentage.
Hailey Quam Hailey Quam 5'11" | SF Shiloh Christian | 2023 State ND – Shiloh Christian – (5’11/PF/2023) – Quam and Kelly were back at it again as the Skyhawks take third place at state beating the Cardinals of Langdon Area. Quam posted a double-double for the second time in three days at the state event finishing the third place game with 17 points and 14 rebounds.
Grace Kelly Grace Kelly 6'1" | SF Shiloh Christian | 2022 State ND – Shiloh Christian – (6’1/SF/2022) – Kelly bounced back in the game against the Cardinals showing why she’s a top 10 prospect in the state of North Dakota. Kelly finished the game with 15 points, eight rebounds, five assists and a blocked shot for the Skyhawks.
Jaycee Richter Jaycee Richter 5'6" | PG Linton/HMB | 2022 State ND – Linton HMB – (5’6/SG/2022) – Jaycee was back and just as impressive as last game as she rallied the Lions to a 5th place finish in a close win against Kenmare 40-30. Jaycee finished with a game high 21 points and tallied in 5 rebounds for good measures.
Walker Demers Walker Demers 6'3" | C Grafton | 2023 ND – Grafton – (6’3/PF/2023) – Walker did what she could against the Vikings, but their talent and size proved to be a bit too much. Walker was still a problem to deal with in the post, but when you have outside sharp shooters like Kindred does it doesn’t prove beneficial for the Spoilers. Demers finished the Championship game with 12 points and 9 rebounds before falling to the Vikings 64-40.
Morgan Freije Morgan Freije 5'10" | SF Langdon/Edmore/Munich | 2022 State ND – Langdon Area/Edmore/Munich – (5’10/SF/2022) – Morgan had a solid performance in the final day of the State Championship games. In one word Freilje can be defined as a slasher who moves well with or without the ball in her hands. She finishes around the rim smoothly, just got off to a rough start against the Skyhawks and that overwhelming size inside. She finished the 3rd place game with 11 points and 6 rebounds.
