Most Valuable Player
2026 5’8 Point Guard Brooklynn Haywood Brooklynn Haywood 5'8" | PG Union | 2026 State WA is just finishing up her 8th grade school year, but she is a regular at our showcases and not afraid to compete at the highest level. Haywood is known for her exceptional shooting, ball handling and ability to create off the bounce, but her coach challenged her to defend and she did so very well in spurts. The consensus from the different coaches, media and scouts in attendance was that she was the best player in camp and to me, her flashes of defense is what took her over the top. Haywood can knock down the deep three, hit the pull-up jumper or drive to the basket and score. She has a strong frame to absorb contact and still finish in the paint. *Feature image
Other Standouts
2024 5’7 Point Guard Giselle Dogan Giselle Dogan 5'7" | CG Jackson | 2024 State WA (Jackson HS) – A very impressive performance from Dogan this past weekend all around lands her on the standouts list. She has the ability to break her man down off the bounce with a variety of moves and then blow by to get to the paint and finish. A stock riser in the 2024 class that is worth keeping an eye on moving forward.
2025 5’6 Point Guard Logan Sailors (Mountain View HS-Idaho) – One of the top hustlers in camp by far. I love Sailors motor and speed in the open floor on offense, but she also utilizes her speed to hustle and get back on the defensive end in transition. Her shot is improving and as she continues to develop her midrange pull-up, she is going to be a tough cover for the defense.
2024 6’0 Power Forward Jazmyn Shipp Jazmyn Shipp 6'0" | PF Bonney Lake | 2024 State WA (Bonney Lake HS) – One of the best power forward prospects in the showcase. Shipp’s shooting touch from 15 feet and around the basket separates her from many players her size. She has a solid foundation of footwork and she is nimble on her feet working in the paint. Her physical strength may be her greatest asset and as she continues to play her peak basketball for longer stretches, she can be a dominant forward.
