Here is how the action shook out in the NJSIAA Tournament, North Jersey, Section 2, Group 3 Sectionals, in four games, highlighted by the players who posted impressive numbers.
Chatham junior Riley Allen, a talented Cougar leader, dropped in a total of 56 points, good for an average of 14 points per game.
The NJSIAA Tournament, North Jersey, Section 2, Group 3 Final: Top-seeded Chatham (39) against No. 2 Randolph (35).
Allen drained a team-best 11 points while freshman Ella Kreuzer Ella Kreuzer 5'10" | SG Chatham | 2025 State NJ contributed 10 in the win.
Junior Madison Jenisch scored a game-high 13 points for Randolph. Senior Sarah Bona grabbed nine boards and freshman Kayla Brand had eight for the Rams.
NJSIAA Tournament, North Jersey, Section 2, Group 3 semifinal: Chatham (49) versus fourth-seeded Synder (48).
Riley led the Cougars with 19 points, with a thrilling game-winning three-pointer with 2.4 seconds left in the tilt. Freshman Mia Semioli scored 13, including a halfcourt buzzer-beater at the half.
Kyra Rose, a feisty senior wing with a great handle, dropped in a game-best 23 points for the Tigers.
NJSIAA North Jersey, Section 2, Group 3 Tournament quarterfinal: Chatham (62) against Warren Hills (45).
Sophomore Addison Barrett scored a game-best 14 points while Semioli finished with 13 points and Riley and Kreuzer scored 12 apiece for the Cougars.
The Streaks’ Maddie Morgan led all players with 20 points.
First round of NJSIAA North Jersey, Section 2, Group 3 Tournament: Chatham (62) against Newark Collegiate (26).
Allen poured in a game-high 14 points and grabbed 10 rebounds while senior Grace Tortorella drained three three-pointers en route to scoring 11 points. Semioli contributed nine points in the victory.
