The main reason for this new type of format was the COVID19 rules implemented by each institution to keep athletes and their families safe from being infected by the virus. We were able to watch games that fell on opposite days and here is what we took from these games during that whole time.

When I saw Joko, she looked like she had the tools to be a solid point guard at the high school level. She runs the offense well, especially in the half court. She looks for her teammates and makes the right pass. Knows when to look to score. She has a solid shot from long-range. She can step into her shot on a spot up or pull up for a jumper on the break.
Heaven Johnson
Crafty 2 guard that can play point, balances the floor with her strong left-hand dribble and sees the floor well from the wings, excellent driving ability and gets to the front of the rim to create her own shot or dish off to her teammates, A plus Defender can play on the ball and runs well in transition. makes game time adjustments to make herself and teammates better.
Sheridan Kennedy
Kennedy has all the tools to develop into a solid scoring wing once she reaches the high school level. She already looks like a comfortable scorer even while playing against players older than her and already in high school. As an eighth-grader, she can already handle the ball well and attack her defender off the dribble. When she’s able to get into the paint, she can draw contact well and get herself to the free-throw line.

Shooter of the bunch, she is very good from the three point line and showed it by knocking down three long threes in this game and did it with composure. She had 9 points in the first half going 3 for 3 from behind the line. She is good guard in on the floor and is comfortable with handling the ball in the open floor.

Scrappy little guard with some swag to her game, she is smooth, she is confident and she plays like she been there before. She shoots a rainbow three pointer that goes in consistently and has a floater to her skillset and can handle it like a pro. Would like to see her attack more often and be able to finish thru contact, but she is a fiery one on the floor.

Isabel is one of the leaders on this team and she showed it the few times we watched this team this season. They lost a few to Crean Lutheran, but they made the most of it. She has good size for a guard/forward and showed us some skill set as well as being a decent defender. She is gonna be one to watch this season if it happens, but we are excited to watch the growth of her game whenever she steps back onto the court.

Garcia is a quick and crafty player who is able to play both guard positions. She has a strong first step and is able to get past most defenders. Solid outside shooter with a quick release. Although she is a decent scorer, she can act as a facilitator and set her teammates up for easy looks. As a young player, is able to find the balance between knowing when to score and when to pass.
