’23 Mattie Clanton | 5’5 Guard | Firstep 2023
Speedy, quick, and tons of IQ. Clanton is a plug-and-play type of point guard who sees the court with outstanding vision. Her awareness of the floor on both defense and offense is felt and seen every time she touches the ball. A playmaking point guard who plays each possession to win and for her teammates.
’23 Natalie Gentry | 5’8 Wing | Firstep 2023
An all-around wing who can play and defend the 1-4 with no problem. She’s patient with great tempo and plays both sides of the ball with an equal amount of energy. On the defensive side of the ball, her discipline and motor are the main keys to her strong on-ball presence. Offensively, she brings the same high-level activity. In the post and in the mid she gets buckets from all angles. High potential.
’23 Nailah Mayes | 5’7 Stretch Post | AL Twisters
A throwback type of post who can stretch the floor if needed. Mayes’s presence and size are felt in the post every possession, whether defensively or offensively. She has tremendous footwork and touch around the rim when shes’ going to work. She plays strong in the post when looking to score or when she’s deflecting and altering rim attacks or other posts.
’23 Talyah Beard | 5’8 Guard | Michigan Goonies
An uber-athletic guard who covers 94 ft within a blink. She’s a two-way player who plays every possession with grit and a chip on her shoulder. Whether it’s diving for loose balls or constantly finding her way to the ball, she makes herself a part of the play. Beard’s physicality allows her to attack the rim with force or she uses her athleticism to stop and pull up for a mid-range.
’23 Abby Pasinos | 5’5 Guard | Michigan Goonies.
The size doesn’t matter for the Concordia commit. Her outside shooting ability and speed are a match for any offensive scheme. She can facilitate and run the show by setting everyone around her up or simply be the main focal point and score from behind the arc or blow by defenders and score at the rim.
