Both games were big-time wins for the Dynasty Region squads against teams from outside of the region and a great way to kick things off in The Exclusive.
Darah Stewart | 6-0 F | Team Stay Ready / Braswell | 2023
Darah is tall and long and from the outset, it was clear that Team Stay Ready was going to work it inside to her where they had a definite size advantage over A2Zoe Elite. Stewart was a huge part of the 68-21 victory for her squad and it wasn’t entirely her points in the paint, though there were a lot of them. She showed off a mid-range jumper and even stepped out to hit a three at one point. She simply can do it all. Her rebounding is top-notch and her post defense is some of the best in the region. Darah is an elite junior out of Texas and you would be smart to make your move if you’re a college coach.
Maebry Shields Maebry Shields 5'7" | SG Perry | 2023 State OK | 5-7 G | Oklahoma Swift / Perry | 2023 | @maebryanne
The first note I wrote down about Maebry is that her stroke is absolutely beautiful. Hand in the cookie jar, high release, smooth, and nothing but net. It’s just pretty. After the game, I went to check the score sheet and there had been a lot of those “just plain pretty” shots that went in. Shields ended the night with 13 and her tremendous on and off-ball defense was a big reason that Swift ended their game early with a 56-29 scoreline. Maebry is ripped, like 0% body fat ripped, and her tremendous athleticism allows her to stick with just about any opponent. She can shut down anyone and did a great job on the defensive end all evening. Shields is yet another junior that you absolutely must have on your radar.
Adriana Robles | 5-5 G | Team Stay Ready / Fossil Ridge | 2025
I don’t even know where to begin with Adriana and when you leave a scout speechless, trust me, that’s a good thing. When Robles was on the court, she was in on every single play. Defensively, she was a nuisance in the best possible way; Well, not for the other team. I don’t leave games wanting to see more of a player, but Adriana has left me wanting to see more of Team Stay Ready’s games over the next couple of days. She is fiery, has a flair for the dramatic, and is an absolute spark plug on both ends of the floor. Though she is only a 2025 on a team with only one other player her age, she sets the tone with her effort on both ends. She can shoot the lights out with Steph Curry range and has ridiculous handles. I’m telling you, coaches, if you’re in Chicago, do not miss any Team Stay Ready games!
Kayley Alt Kayley Alt 5'9" | CG Pryor | 2023 State OK | 5-9 G/F | Oklahoma Swift / Pryor | 2023 | @AltKayley
OK, so I haven’t seen EVERY game since Kayley joined Oklahoma Swift, but I feel like the second half she had tonight may have been one of her best halves since joining this outstanding squad. She defended very well, denying the ball to her opponent numerous times without a single foul. She scored from every level and made all of her free throws. When all was said and done, Kayley finished up with 11 points and a night to be extremely proud of. I would not be at all surprised to see her have an even bigger game later this weekend. She has all of the tools in her arsenal. Her height and handles are a problem when she has the ball in her hands. Her work ethic off the ball helps to spring her loose and when her shots start falling, it’s big trouble for opponents. Kayley Alt Kayley Alt 5'9" | CG Pryor | 2023 State OK is a baller and it’s all starting to come together for this Oklahoma Swift squad.
