Kids are now starting to attend much more events and the viewing periods are booming all over the country with multiple sites and tournaments at hand. We are excited to be covering events with extensive coverage, i.e.; articles & tweets and taking some very good information on athletes and make them available for your enjoyment. Take a look at this list of 2023 kids in our rankings who we believe will be crucial parts for their prospective teams this spring and summer.
2023, 6’2, PF, St. Marys of Stockton HS, Jamaya Perry Jamaya Perry 6'2" | PF St Marys Stockton | 2023 State CA – Jamaya impressed us during the high school season and she was very worthy of our praise, she was a monster on the glass for her team and she could get up and down the floor and make plays. She has great size and knows how to use it, she is agile and strong and she punishes her opponents in the paint as she can catch and seal her opponent with ease. This kid is gonna have a great spring and summer because she plays hard and really knows how to play the game of basketball.
2023, 5’8, CG, Etiwanda HS, Jaiya Mix Jaiya Mix 5'8" | CG Etiwanda | 2023 State CA – Jaiya surprised us with her skill set for the game, I saw her at a home game for Etiwanda and she was up and down the floor making plays on each end. Her offensive skill set is great, she can score with ease from all three levels and she is quick and agile on the floor. She is a menace on defense, but I would expect that, Stan Delus demands defensive presence from each and every girl that plays for him. She is gonna have a good spring and summer, I would assume she is playing for West Coast Premier/Team Why Not.
2023, 5’7, PG, St. Marys of Stockton HS, Nia Anderson Nia Anderson 5'7" | PG Saint Mary's of Stockton | 2023 State CA – Nia is that point guard that needs the spotlight and wants it, she knows how to play as well and all coaches would love a lead guard with her presence. She is quick, she is crafty and she is one the highest IQ guards in the state and the coaches had better take notice, cause she is prone to break out this spring and summer in front of all the schools. Nia can run your offense, she can defend the best guard and she can score with a nice jumper or take you all the way to the rim and finish thru contact. She is going to impress.
2023, 5’10, SF, Aliso Niguel HS, Shanna Brown Shanna Brown 5'10" | SF Aliso Niguel | 2023 State CA – Shanna is a great athlete, uses her size well and she is one of the leaders on her squad at her high school. She makes plays and makes other players better, her team plays for each other and she fits directly in the middle of it and does her thing. We loved watching her this year, we were surprised at her skill set, coaches, I do not know if she is being recruited very hard, but I would believe this kid could play for someone at the D1 level, that is my honest opinion. Keep her on your radar and watch out for her in the club season this spring and summer.
