Kids are now starting to attend much more events and the viewing periods are booming all over the country with multiple sites and tournaments at hand. We are excited to be covering events with extensive coverage, i.e.; articles & tweets and taking some very good information on athletes and make them available for your enjoyment. Take a look at this list of 2023 kids in our rankings who we believe will be crucial parts for their prospective teams this spring and summer.
2023, 6’1, CG, Sierra Canyon HS, Judea Watkins Judea Watkins 6'1" | CG Windward | 2023 State #1 Nation CA – JuJu is the most dominant we have seen her in her career, she is dynamic, she is athletic, she is quick and agile and is capable of scoring from anywhere on the floor. She can score from all three levels on the floor with exceptional skills sets and confidence in her game. She might be one of the most exciting too, with her acrobatic finishes at the rim and her poise to pull up for a nice jumper or a floater down the middle of the lane. She has stretched out a little, might be about 6’2 now and we expect her to get a few more inches considering the parents height and stature as we watch them on the sidelines. JuJu is a prize and whoever captures her will be inheriting a scorer for all days to come, special and was from the beginning.
2023, 5’11, CG, Ontario Christian HS, Chloe Briggs Chloe Briggs 6'0" | SF Ontario Christian HS | 2023 State CA – Chloe is a monster in her own right, she can score a ton and put it to her opponents in many types of ways. This kid averaged 25+ points per game in her high school season and was the catalyst to make the team go, she scored, she assisted and she defended as well, she did a lot of things that kept her team on top during the season. What I like about Chloe game is the attention to detail, she can take you to the rim and finish, she can stop and pull up from midrange and she could also knock down the pro three pointer with ease. She has been heralded in the EYBL and has been the MVP of CIFSS and has taken her team to the State Championships, this kid is a proven winner and we love that aspect of her game. Team leader is always her aim when playing the game she loves.
2023, 5’4, PG, Corona Centennial HS, Sydni Summers Sydni Summers 5'4" | CG Corona Centennial HS | 2023 State CA – We have watched Sydni since she was a young player, playing this game of basketball, she is the daughter of a trainer, so you know she is well-versed in the game. She takes her time on the floor and makes every play count, she can get to the rim, she can pull up and she is a threat from the three point line. She is quick, strong, agile and athletic and is one of the toughest kids on the floor at any given time. We love her determination on the floor, she is a defensive stopper for her team as well, she will guard the best player at any time and shut them down and keep them off of their personal averages on that night. Sydni is also a prize and we await her decision to play at a school soon.
2023, 5’9, SG, Valley View HS, Ari Long Ari Long 5'9" | SG Valley View HS | 2023 State CA – Ari can play the game as well, she has a nice body type for the game, she is long and athletic and uses her skill set to capitalize when playing the game. She can score from all three levels on the floor and she is a capable defensive stopper on the floor and showed it as we watched her high school team play this season past. She loves to score the ball in transition, she can start the break, she can make the right passes and she is a great finisher around the rim. She shoots the ball pretty well and scores from most spots at will, Ari is a bucket getter and she has been since the first time we watched her a few years back. This kid can play the game….
