There are 142 players currently listed on this newly published rankings list and 57 watch list players. Having already gone over some, we’re going to continue the series with five new watch list players to track.
Isabella Serano Isabella Serano 5'9" | SG Bishop Eustace | 2025 State NJ – 5-9 SG, Bishop Eustace
Serano was a solid shooting guard for Bishop Eustace this season, averaging 4.4 points a game with nine made three-pointers on the year. She’s gotten great experience this season with the Crusaders and has shown she can shoot the ball and create on offense. Serano plays the role of a spot-up shooter well and has room to grow in her game. Bishop Eustace is a relatively young team with starting spots open next season for a player like Serano to develop.
Emily Cavanaugh Emily Cavanaugh 5'8" | SG Ranney | 2025 State NJ – 5-8 SG, St. Rose
It was a strong freshman year for the shooting guard, who averaged six points a game and knocked down 15 three-pointers overall. Cavanaugh fit into the system for St. Rose really well and excelled as a scorer. She has a 3&D type game so far, able to shoot from the perimeter and play well on defense. However, her field goal shooting overall is solid and showcases to us someone who can do more than just shoot threes.
Bella Curanovic Bella Curanovic 5'11" | SG Cranford | 2025 State NJ – 5-8 SG, Cranford
Curanovic posted stellar numbers as a freshman, with just over five points a game and 4.5 rebounds a game. Her 0.7 blocks a game and 1.1 steals a game should not go unnoticed as her defense is quite impressive. That also includes her rebounding as paired together, you have not just a complimentary scorer as of now, but a put together defensive package. Curanovic is going to shine on the defensive end moving forward without a doubt.
Ailani Dasher Ailani Dasher 5'6" | CG Bayonne | 2025 NJ – 5-6 CG, Bayonne
There are already a number of things we’ve been impressed by with Dasher, beginning with her perimeter defense. She averaged 2.3 steals a game as a freshman with plenty of room to improve in that department. Additionally, her rebounding and passing were balanced, around 2.3 a game for each. Going to her offense, 43 percent of it came from three, so we’re expecting her to hone in on that shooting over the summer going into next season.
Janiyah Capers Janiyah Capers 5'3" | PG St. Dominic | 2025 State NJ – 5-3 PG, St. Dominic
The most concerning thing for Capers right now is her size, standing at 5-3 in the point guard position. She’s more than capable of making plays even in mismatches on offense. This year is a very crucial year for her overall development as experience plays such an important role in the development of a player. She knows how to survey defensive schemes more efficiently and will have that extra split-second edge to carve up teams left and right.
