We released an updated rankings for the class of 2023 this week. Today we look at part two of the 2023 stock risers!

E’Zaria Adams (Palm Beach Central / Miami Suns) – 5’8 Wing
New Ranking: 35 Previous Ranking: 68
Adams jumps up 30 spots to # 35 in the recent rankings after establishing herself as one of the top players in Palm Beach county. She is a versatile 5’8 perimeter player that can play guard, wing or forward. She averaged 14 points and 4 rebounds a game for Palm Beach Central and has a solid start to the travel season with the Miami Suns Team Fowles.
Hannah Kohn Hannah Kohn 5'9" | CG Hagerty | 2023 State FL (Hagerty HS / Hoop Dreams Elite) – 5’9 Guard
New Ranking: 38 Previous Ranking: 55
Ever made 19 3-pointers in one game??? I doubt it. Well Hannah Kohn Hannah Kohn 5'9" | CG Hagerty | 2023 State FL could not miss against Lymann HS in December, scoring 61 of her teams 88 points and setting a national record in the process. The long-range bomber has established herself as one of the country’s top sharp shooters, getting her feet set quickly, having a quick release, and not needing much space or time to get her shot off. She is a threat every time she touches the ball and is in range once she crosses half court!
Janessa Williams Janessa Williams 5'10" | SF King’s Academy | 2023 State FL (King’s Academy / Miami Suns) – 5’10 Wing
New Ranking: 40 Previous Ranking: 54
Our staff has gotten a chance to see Williams several times with King’s Academy and the Miami Suns at the Polk County Hoopfest, Tampa Bay Christmas Invitational, as well as in the state playoffs and most recently at the Sunshine State Showdown. She is very versatile and stands out for her aggressive play. She does all the little things, diving on the floor, persistently going to the boards, and being in the mix for all the 50/50 balls. Her motor and energy are refreshing and enjoyable to watch. Williams moves up 14 spots to # 40 overall in the class of 2023.
Maia Lewers Maia Lewers 5'5" | CG Brooks DeBartolo | 2023 State FL (Brooks DeBartolo / Tampa Thunder) – 5’5 Guard
New Ranking: 46 Previous Ranking: 69
Lewers established herself as one of the top players in the Tampa Bay area for her fearless and aggressive play from the perimeter position. She has a quick first step, attacks off the dribble and gets into the paint causing havoc in opposing defenses. Lewers X factor is her ability and desire to guard on the defensive end. She is always willing to take on the assignment of guarding the other team’s best player and pick them up full court! She moves up 20 spots to # 46 in the release rankings.
Milan Santos Milan Santos 5'3" | PG Colonial HS | 2023 State FL (Colonial HS / Hoop Dreams Elite) – 5’3 Guard
New Ranking: 60 Previous Ranking: 89
Santos is a small, pesky guard who has good handle, a high IQ, and great court vision. She plays with confidence and is an extension of the coach on the floor. Her offensive skill set is well rounded as she can knock down open 3s, attack off the bounce, get to the rim and create shots for her teammates.
Ziul Gonzalez (Miami Christian / Team Knight) – 5’5 Guard
New Ranking: 62 Previous Ranking: 84
Gonzalez has been doing a lot of winning lately, taking home a state championship with Miami Christian and helping lead Team Knight 16U 3SSB to a championship at the 2022 Sunshine State Showdown. Playing alongside her sister, D1 signee Enjulina Gonzalez Enjulina Gonzalez 5'9" | CG Miami Christian | 2022 State FL , Ziul has stepped out of her sisters shadow, showcasing an exceptional offensive skill set and the ability to shoot a high percentage from 3. She was one of the top performers in Lakeland and was also one of the top 3 point shooters and stand out players at the Sunshine State Showdown last month. She moves up 20 spots to # 62.
Ella Ortman Ella Ortman 5'7" | CG Providence Of Jacksonville | 2023 State FL (Providence School / Hoop Dreams Elite) – 5’7 guard
New Ranking: 63 Previous Ranking: 77
Ortman has continued to climb up the rankings, showcasing her ability to let it fly from deep, drop dimes for easy buckets, and handle the ball vs pressure. She has great footwork, gets her feet set and shot off quickly, and shoots a high percentage. Not only a threat to stroke it from 3, Ortman gets down in a defensive position and guards the basketball, applying ball pressure to ball handlers and stepping into passing lanes.
Iasiah Suprius Iasiah Suprius 5'7" | SF Santaluces | 2023 State FL (Santaluces HS / Wellington Wolves) – 5’7 Wing
New Ranking: 68 Previous Ranking: 85
Suprius was impressive for Santaluces this season, averaging 12.1 points per game. She is a big guard / wing who can score off the bounce, finish at the rim, and knock it down from the wing. She moves up 25 spots, from # 85 to # 68, and will continue to rise with her stellar play.
About Class of 2023 Rankings
This is the first update of the 2023 rankings in 2022. We have taken a look at players performance and potential with both their High School and Travel teams. If there is a player that not included in the rankings or you feel is not ranked properly, please email us at WholeyPrepHoops@gmail.com and include Name, Height, Position, HS, Travel team, any stats available and any video available. Our goal is to cover the entire state, but we are well aware that we have not seen everyone in the state and those that we have seen, we have not seen all of them equally the same amount of time and games.

Prep Girls Hoops prospect rankings have been compiled by our staff with input from high school, club and college coaches from across the state. Players are ranked on their status as a college prospect. We aim to expand and update our prospects rankings 2-4 times per year to continue to maintain the most comprehensive, accurate prospect rankings in the country.
