We had another big time event come through with New Jersey representation as the ACES Omni Elite Classic took place on May 24 and on the girls roster, there were four prospects from New Jersey.
2022 prospect Paulina Paris Paulina Paris 5'9" | PG Saddle River Day | 2022 State NJ , 2023 prospect Zoe Brooks Zoe Brooks 5'8" | CG St. John Vianney | 2023 State NJ and 2025 prospects Mia and Mya Pauldo Mya Pauldo 5'7" | CG Morris Catholic | 2025 State NJ took to the Gauchos Gym in the Bronx for this year’s game and all four are well-deserved selections for this event.
Starting out with Paris, she’s not just a North Carolina commit, but a First Team All-Conference selection and a top-3 2022 prospect on PGH NJ’s prospect list. She averaged nearly 23.0 PPG as a senior as well as just under three made three-pointers a game.
Paris will be teaming up with former Manchester Township superstar Destiny Adams in Chapel Hill, suiting up with the Tar Heels for the next four years.
We’ve already gotten a chance to talk about Brooks this spring and for good reason as her and Hannah Hidalgo Hannah Hidalgo 5'7" | PG Paul VI | 2023 State NJ are representing New Jersey at Team USA U17 team trials right now. Brooks is a bucket on the floor and got that much better this season playing with Madison St. Rose Madison St. Rose 5'10" | PG St. John Vianney | 2022 State #65 Nation NJ at St. John Vianney.
Finishing it off with the Pauldo sisters, you’ve heard us and just about every outlet within the state and nearby areas talk about them this season. They were absolutely electric for Morris Catholic, averaging nearly 40.0 PPG as a duo. They’re our No. 1 and No. 2 players in PGH NJ’s 2025 prospect rankings and for good reason.
You’re not going to find another pair of twins as good as the Pauldos are because they excel at literally every facet of the game and already don’t look like they have any weaknesses. They can pass, rebound, play great defense, score inside the paint, shoot from midrange and knock down three-pointers.
We’ll do our best to not overhype these prospects, but what more is there to say about two superstar talents that have already garnered a number of D1 offers from some of the best women’s college basketball programs in the country.
Congrats to the four on well-deserved honors to be playing in such a big event at such a historic venue. We’ll see three of the four play high school basketball next year and hopefully see Paris dominating in the ACC as a freshman in college.
