In this article, we look at some outstanding players who are ranked in the 100’s. Assessing their body of work from last season and the most recent AAU season, a few of them will be ranked significantly higher when the next rankings come out, and that’s just “keeping it 100.”
Phantasia Lauriston Phantasia Lauriston 5'8" | CG Palm Bay | 2025 State FL (Viena, ECU, PGH # 114). Lauriston is a very good baller and she is a coach’s and teammate’s favorite. She has great intangibles and also great abilities on the court. Lauriston is a high IQ player and makes quality plays on the court, whether passing to an open teammate, or just being in the right place at the right time. She found herself in the right place quite often in her Freshman season and averaged nearly 10 points per game. Lauriston really handles the basketball well and is a wizard in the pick and roll sets. She shoots the 3 very well and her rips to the midrange area are very nice. She does an excellent job of getting into the paint for high percentage shots and buckets.
Lamiyah Hogans Lamiyah Hogans 5'10" | CG San Jose Prep | 2025 State FL (Pictured Left) (Raines, ECU Caswell 2025, PGH #143). Hogans was just awarded the MVP of the Raines Vikings basketball team as a Freshman. In her Freshman season, Hogan averaged 10.5 points per game. One of her best performances came against Bolles and fellow Freshman sensation, Abby Knauff Abby Knauff 5'9" | SG Bolles | 2025 State FL . Hogans finished with nearly 30 points. At the beginning of the AAU season, Hogan was awarded an outstanding performer award in ECU’s Demetrius Richardson Memorial Scholarship game. That game featured some of the top 2025 players in the state, and Hogan was a standout. Hogans has excellent length and can shoot the ball from anywhere on the court. She is a good three-point shooter, but her midrange game is potent. She rebounds well, and can also handle the ball. She has been a standout on the ECU Caswell team this AAU season.
Breah Usry Breah Usry 5'4" | SG Ponte Vedra HS | 2025 State FL (Ponte Vedra, Blue Heat 2025, PGH # 185) Usry is one of the most athletic players in the 2025 class. She plays a physical game and her athleticism blows you away. She can run all day and she is at her best in the transition game. Usry plays defense with physicality and aggression. She doesn’t shy away from contact and usually, she is the one initiating the contact. Offensively, Usry is a slasher and loves to get to the basket. She is quick off of the dribble and loves to finish with an explosion off of a jump stop.
Jariyah Jordan Jariyah Jordan 5'9" | SF Rickards | 2025 State FL (Rickards 2025, PGH #179) had a very good Freshman basketball season I saw her live at the Blue Devil Holiday tournament and in the Regional playoffs. She was strong in that tournament and was instrumental in capturing the tournament title. She can maneuver in the paint with a variety of low post moves and she has excellent footwork. Jordan can run the court as well. She has a really good presence on the court. In addition to creating for herself, she also does a good job of dishing to the open teammate. Jordan was also very effective in the paint and for a Freshman, she knows how to put the ball in the basket.
Paris Washington Paris Washington 5'6" | SG Ribault | 2025 State FL (Ribault, ECU Caswell 2025, PGH #102) was one of the talented Freshmen at Ribault High School. Washington is a smooth player on the court who has speed, athleticism, and can shoot the ball. She has been solid all AAU season has had some “standout’ moments. Washington plays good defense and she also can run the point and play in the off guard position. She does a good job of passing to open teammates. She has been a standout during the AAU season this year.
