Lauryn Brewster | PG | Arkansas All Red 2025 | 2025
Lauryn did a really good job of running the team. She plays with a level of confidence that keeps her poise in all situations. She has long arms and when she get in a good wide defensive stance she can apply good pressure and force off-target passes. When she receives the outlet pass to initiate the break, her eyes automatically goes up the floor. She did a really good job of passing ahead to her teammates for easy finishes. If she keeps it she can break down the defense and make plays off the dribble. She can finish at the rim or make the three-ball if given space.
Kyleigh Scoggins Kyleigh Scoggins 5'9" | PG Nashville | 2023 State AR | PG | Arkansas All Red 2023 | 2023
I was really impressed this past basketball season when I saw Kyleigh play in the state championship game. So I was eager to see how she performed during the summer against some really good competition. During the Main Event, she showed some promise and potential. She pushed the ball well in transition which led to her making plays for her teammates. She ran the team on offense, attacked off the bounce, finished around the rim and played solid on defense.
Journey Jefferson | PG | AR Mavs Elite | 2027
I’ve seen Journey play a few times from afar. She hasn’t played a minute in high school ball so I really never had a chance to sit down really watch her game. But I can tell you that I have seen growth in her overall development since last summer. She’s a really good athlete that excels in the open court when she put her athleticism on full display. In the half-court, she can break you down off the bounce and she’s improved her shot. With Journey being able to lock you down defensively, beat you off the dribble, make plays for others and make the three-ball, she’s a name you definitely want to know and remember.
Ramaih Augurson | Forward | AR Mavs 2025 | 2025
Ramiah really impressed me with her energy, effort, and athleticism. She played both the forward and post position, but she’s great at slashing to the basket and displaying her athleticism around the basket. She would often outjump and outrun her opponents for 50/50 balls and rebounds. She demonstrated the ability to handle the ball some in certain situations and make plays for her teammates, she could attack off the dribble in a straight line, and absolutely kill you on the offensive boards if you didn’t get a body on her.
Inia Jones Inia Jones 5'7" | PG Omaha Central | 2024 State NE | PG | Nebraska Hoops Elite | 2024
I love me some point guards. Especially point guards like Inia. She knows how to control the game. She can push it in transition and make plays or run the team in the half-court. Offensively, she can break you down off the dribble and get to the rim for the finish or she can make the jumper however you want it. She can give you the pull-up jumper or the spot-up three. Inia even posted up a couple of times on the low block for some easy buckets. Defensively I was really impressed with her on-ball defense, effort, and communication on skills. If you don’t know her then you need to remember her name. She already has several D1 offers and I’m sure more will come.
Serena Heeren Serena Heeren 6'0" | PF Lincoln Northeast | 2024 State NE | Forward | Nebraska Hoops Elite | 2024
Serena is a versatile player that can play and defend multiple positions. She can play with her back to the basket, at the high post, or on the wing. Serena has the ability to grab the defensive rebound and initiate the break. She handles the ball well enough to get around defenders in the open court and finish the play herself or make the pass to a teammate. If she’s not pushing the ball in transition then she’s running the floor hard. She has good hands and a soft touch around the basket to catch errant passes and still finish the play. Defensively, she can guard post, wings, and some point guards. She also does really well from help position rotating over and blocking or altering shots.
