As you can see in the title, Mia and Mya Pauldo Mya Pauldo 5'7" | CG Morris Catholic | 2025 State NJ , the top two prospects in PGH NJ’s 2025 prospect rankings, headline the 2022 team, but there are plenty of other big names you should be watching this summer.
Nir Nir Cherry-Montague Nir Nir Cherry-Montague 6'6" | PF Atlantic City | 2023 State NJ – 6-4 WING/PF, Atlantic City (2023)
Cherry-Montague is currently the No. 12 prospect in PGH NJ’s 2023 prospect rankings and for good reason as this big plays like a stretch four, able to run the floor, dominating on both sides of the ball. She’s an excellent shooter with a great shooter’s touch, not really seen that much from forwards. The more she’s expanded her range, the more effective she’s gotten as a player because as soon as she fakes out on the wing, she’s driving the lane hard for a basket. On defense, she tracks players well, is a great shot-blocker from her long wingspan and is a brick wall in the middle.
Symiaha Brown-Cobb Symiaha Brown-Cobb PG Paterson Eastside | 2023 State NJ – 5-7 PG, Paterson Eastside (2023)
Brown-Cobb’s stock fell this season, despite a great end to her junior year, but she still has plenty of time and raw talent to turn things around this summer. She’s more than capable of 20-point performances, something we saw plenty of as a freshman. Even now as she’s not focused as much on her three-point shooting, her dribble drive ability alone is something that should get her 15-20 points a game. She’s aggressive with the ball and finishes through contact at the rim. The more confidence instilled in her, the better she’s going to perform without a doubt.
Tori Postell – 5-8 G, Passaic Charter (2025)
Postell’s numbers this season have definitely gone under-the-radar at Passaic Charter, but she essentially averaged 20 points a game and put up some monster performances along the way. She can just about do everything on the court, from perimeter shooting to interior scoring, to free-throw shooting, passing and overall defense. Her defense might honestly be the highlight of her play as someone who can disrupt opponents early and often, forcing constant bad possessions and turnovers. Combine that with a 20-point scorer and you have a superstar on your hands.
Mya Pauldo Mya Pauldo 5'7" | CG Morris Catholic | 2025 State NJ – 5-8 PG, Morris Catholic
When looking at the Pauldo sisters, Mya doesn’t focus as much on perimeter shooting and plays more of an interior game, which has worked wonders for her. She can rebound and pass well, plus her defense is stellar beyond words. She’s less of a scorer and more of a facilitator from what we’ve seen of her, but she can create and deliver just about as well as anyone in the state. We’re looking to see what kind of scoring she can give this summer before another big high school season this fall.
Mia Pauldo Mia Pauldo 5'7" | CG Morris Catholic | 2025 State NJ – 5-8 PG, Morris Catholic
What hasn’t Pauldo done so far in her high school career…and she’s only played one full season! The scoring is there, the passing is there, the rebounding is there, the three-point shooting is there, the defense is there. She complements her sister so well on the floor, able to cut off screens and receive passes for scoring opportunities. Just as well as she plays off-ball, she can dominate on the dribble, controlling the offense from the top of the key. It almost feels like the twins are a carbon copy of each other and are going to dominate the New Jersey basketball scene over the next few years.
