With some time to reflect, I will be reviewing the players that I did not select as top performers that still made an impression. Tasked with covering Nebraska and Kansas, I’m finishing my coverage with four more from Kansas to watch out for.
Sandra Hracka | Kansas Bluejays 2023 | Guard | 5’9″ | Class of 2025
Hracka may have been the feistiest player I saw over the weekend. She pestered opponents on the defensive end and was diving for balls all over the basketball court. The Bluejays have a lot of offensive talent on the team and Hracka doesn’t take a lot of shots but she can get to the rim and hit from long range when left open. Hracka does a lot of little things on the court to get extra possessions and brings a ton of energy and grit.
Addison Davee | Kansas Bluejays 2026 | Forward | 6’1″ | Class of 2027
The length of Davee was impressive. Her movement was more of a small forward, pair that with her size and length and it could develop into something special. Davee showed hustle to loose balls and was not afraid to take her shots, even showing off some range in a couple games. In the painted area she uses her size to alter shots and has good lateral movement, sliding into place. Davee could turn some heads in the coming years.
Charlie Hill | Kansas Bluejays 2026 | Guard | 5’8″ | Class of 2027
Hill showed an excellent ability to defend, creating turnovers and fast break opportunities. Once she is attack mode, she has solid ball handling skills that allows her to weave through traffic and create. Hill has the ability to shoot from anywhere on the court and as she develops her shot mechanics, she could become a terrific scorer. Her intensity and ball pressure make her special and hard work could have her name on the minds of many schools in the future.
Brylee Meier Brylee Meier 6'0" | PF Hayden | 2025 State KS | NorthSouth Basketball 2024 | Forward | 5’11″ | Class of 2025
Another player with good size, Meier displayed talent in the painted area. She works hard to get position and her length allows her to get put back buckets and challenge on the defensive end. Meier does a great job of flashing to the basket and knows how to get the ball up off the back board making it tougher for her shots to be contested. Meier moves well for her size and could become a force on the inside as her post game matures.
