Continue ReadingThere were a lot of good team performances at the Candace Dupree Invitational. In this article we highlight the team-performance by Tre Mann Elite 2025. I saw them play in Charlotte at the Apache Memorial Tournament and though short handed, the team had a very good tournament. Fast Forward to the Candace Dupree Invitational and the team again performed well going 4 and 0 and winning by some decisive margins. In this article, we highlight the players of Tre Mann Elite 2025 and their performances at the Candace Dupree Invitational :
Ashlyn Young #0, 5’8″ G ( P K Young 2026) will be entering her Freshman year of high school. Unlike many, Young has suited up for the varsity, playing at PK Young since she was in 6th grade. She is a poised player and very versatile on the court. Young knows how to score the ball and also makes very good decisions on the court. Young can fill the stat sheet up as well. She rebounds well, passes well, and knows how to score baskets. In the Candace Dupree tournament, Young averaged nearly 10 points per contest and 6 rebounds. Young is also a good defender and was able to record nearly 2 steals per game.
Ar’Nayshia Griffin #5, , 5’11 G/PF (Bradford High 2026) played lights out during the Candace Dupree Invitational and averaged nearly a double double with 17points and 9 rebounds per contest). Griffin is tall and long and is versatile enough to play inside and out. Griffin has the skills of a guard and also low post skills as well.
Jiyah Hamilton #2, 5’1” G (The Villages Charter School 2025) has been steady throughout the AAU season and she continued her stellar play during the CDI. Hamilton can score from anywhere on the court. She is also a tough nosed defender who is very good on the ball. Against BD Thunder, the talented guard knocked down 15 points and 3 rebounds.
Zion McCrae #3 , 5’4” G (PK Younge 2025) is a flat out baller and a natural scorer. McCrae averaged 11 points per contest. She is the reigning FACA District player of the year, an achievement she earned last year as a Freshman. She also averaged an amazin 18.2 points per game in her Freshman campaign.
Trinidy Harris Trinidy Harris 5'4" | PG Wildwood | 2025 State FL #4, 5’6” G (Wildwood Jr/Sr High School 2025). Harris is a true point guard and can get around the court with lightening quickness and speed. She can score at all levels on the court and she can pass that ball. In the Candace Dupree Invitational, Harris averaged over 9 points per game and nearly 5 assists per game. Harris shows up in the big games too. She she led her high school team to the class 1A State Championship game and scored down 21 points. Harris averaged 11 points and nearly 4 steals per contest as a Freshman.
Bentley #6Dasanni, 5’5” CG (Trinity Catholic High School 2025). Bentley put us some good numbers, especially in the assists department. Bentley is an energetic guard who can do a little of everything. In 3 games at the tournament she dished out at least 4 assists. She is at her best in the open court.
Makayla Hill #8, 5’7” G/F (Ridgeview Global Studies 2026). Hill is long andathletic and has a high basketball IQ. She makes the right play on the court and does a lot of things well on the court, including rebounding and scoring. Hill averaged nearly 8 points in the tournament, including a 14 point- 6 rebound performance against OBC.
Narjhanni Harris #14 (Wildwood Middle High School 2026). Harris is big body guard who can score at all levels and loves getting to the rim. She is a tough nosed player and very good on the defensive side of the court. Harris also plays with an edge to her game. She has played varsity since 6th grade and was instrumental in her team making it to the state Championship game this past year.
