Tensions were high and the games were competitive which kept the energy in the gym high on a Sunday. The Upward Star Center in Spartanburg, SC has a fantastic facility that allows this event to run as smooth as possible. The Triumph Region of the PGH Circuit has been to: Bradenton, Knoxville, Chicago, Nashville, Atlanta, Daytona Beach, Council Bluffs, and made it’s final stop in Hub City. Here are the cream of the crop that stood out to me on Championship Sunday:
Rachel Shropshire Rachel Shropshire 6'3" | SF Franklin County | 2024 State KY | Richmond Heat | 2024
Rachel was one of the top shooters in Spartanburg, and she stands at a height of 6’2 with a long wingspan. She is a matchup nightmare as she can score it inside as well, and she defends the paint on the opposite end. This Richmond Heat team has a few 2024’s on it, but Rachel held her own all Circuit long playing a level up. If she gets stronger and works on her inside game, she’s going to be an absolute force in the Bluegrass State.
Zoe O’Leary Zoe O’Leary 6'0" | SF Venice | 2025 State FL | Florida Lady Aces | 2025
There were many moments that Zoe got her team going in the game I watched. Her height, length, and feel for the game make her a top post in Florida’s 2025 class. She does a really good job of using her body and her footwork to get things done on the interior. As she continues to get stronger and mature, she has the chance to become a really good post player that can match up amongst the best in the country.
Camiah Muldrow Camiah Muldrow 5'7" | CG Lovejoy | 2025 MO | Team Nite Nite | 2025
Camiah is an unsung hero on a loaded squad that took home the 16U Title. She’s one of a few hoopers on TNN that plays up with the 2024’s and gets things done. Her game is very unselfish and she’s always looking to distribute to her teammates on the break. She is one of the best slashing guards I’ve seen from Georgia with a strong euro step and runner to get a bucket inside, especially in transition. Camiah can also hit it from long range, and she is going to be a star at the level she’s playing at in her class.
Brittany Campbell Brittany Campbell 5'6" | PG Madison Central | 2025 State KY | Richmond Heat | 2025
Brittany handled her own in the 17U and 15U divisions. She’s a quick and shifty guard that makes it look easy when driving to the hoop. Her scoring ability at all three levels is impressive as a rising Sophomore. She has court court vision, court awareness, and can make some really nice touch or bounce passes to her open teammates. I like watching her play, because she is just out there to hoop against anyone who is on the other team.
Ashton Harris | Richmond Heat | 2024
Ashton is part of a small roster (in terms of numbers) for Richmond Heat ’23 that doesn’t have many weaknesses, especially when they are all clicking. She’s one of those players that makes all the tough plays and does the dirty work to help out her teammates. Her shot has great form and great rotation on a 17U team that is full of shooters with good fundamentals. Ashton is a great communicator and huge fan of her teammates. I really like her all-around game and how she does all the little things right.
Sa’Niah Dorsey Sa’Niah Dorsey 5'6" | PG Calhoun | 2025 State GA | Wood Elite | 2025
Sa’Niah is part of a very good Wood Elite ’24 squad that went home with a 3-1 record. She stays in the passing lanes with active hands and she crashes the boards hard for her position. Her scoring ability allows her to put up points in a hurry from 15 feet and in when her team needs it on this loaded squad with many capable scorers. She plays unselfish and has really good court awareness. Sa’Niah is a speedy guard that has a high ceiling as a 2025.
