Terrielle Clark Terrielle Clark 5'7" | CG San Jose Prep | 2024 State FL G 2024 (San Jose Prep ) Clark (pictured above) is one of the top guards and players in the 2024 class. There is not too much that Clarke can’t do. She has very good handles on the court and has a very high basketball IQ. On offense, Clark rotated between point guard and shooting guard. She doesn’t seem to be sped up by the opposing team and is always under control. Clark can score the ball from all levels and does so with ease. On the night I watched her play, she knocked down several three-point shots, connected on a floater in the paint, and scored off a few layups in transition. She has a knack for putting the ball in the basket. Defensively, Clark plays the passing lanes well and does a good job of deflecting a lot of passes. She gets her share of steals, and she is very good at turning those steals into fast-break layups. She is one of the best rebounding guards in the 2024 class and she does it on both ends of the court. Last year Clark played in the shadows of some very good senior players (Zoriah Mobley and Kiana Wilson). This season Clark will be front and center and will be the undeniable leader of the San Jose Prep basketball team. Judging by her summer performance, she is built for the leadership role and she has the game to get the job done.
Maggie Stoll C 2023 (Bolles). Stoll played very well during week 3 of summer league play. Stoll did a good job on the defense and really moved her feet well. She is very active in the paint and does a good job of denying entry passes on the inside. In summer league play, Stoll was relentless on the boards and created second-chance opportunities for the Bulldogs. Stoll was also able to draw fouls and get to the free-throw line. Bolles is a heavy guard-oriented team and Stoll will give the Lady Bulldogs an inside presence and keep defenses honest when defending all of their shooters.
Kayla Massey G 2024 ( Ribault). Massey has played well this summer and the Ribault point guard is poised to have a great Junior season. Massey is an aggressive penetrating point guard who gives teams fits, especially in man-to-man coverage. She was a standout in week 2 of the summer. Massey drew a lot of fouls going and had numerous 3-point plays on drives to the goal. She also plays well on defense. She is an in-your-face defender who does not shy away from contact. Massey led Ribault as a Sophomore and she will resume her leadership role in her Junior year.
Piera Alexander Piera Alexander 5'6" | PG Orange Park | 2024 State FL PG 2024 (Orange Park). Alexander continued her good play this Sumner in the San Jose Prep Summer League. Alexander is taking the point guard position by the reigns and her comfort level in the position is growing. She does a good job of facilitating and getting the ball to her shooters on the outside and to her bigs on the inside. Alexander also showed that she can also get to the basket on drives. She can score on all three levels and she will be called on to do a little more scoring with the exit of Nia Brown and Samantha Hardison.
