Whether they create for themselves or for their teammates, it garners better offensive output for their squad. Here is a list of 5 young ladies from this class that create shots for their teammates plus have the ability to score it themselves.
Lydia Yost Lydia Yost 5'6" | SG Wagner | 2025 State SD – Wagner – 5′ 6″ SG – Current Class of 2025 PGH Ranking – 41st
Lydia is a talented young player on a talented young team at Wagner. If you spend a few minutes watching her play for either her hometown Red Raider team or the SD attack program, you will see a great blend of sharp passes and her own buckets from beyond the arch. Yost has 20/20 vision on the floor and finds her teammates often to set up scoring opportunities for them. Pair this with a nice shot from deep, plus the handles to attack the basket and you have a very dynamic guard in this young lady. She operates from multiple positions and no matter where she’s placed she consistently finds open teammates and creates points for her squad.
Kasey Hanson Kasey Hanson 5'8" | PG Vermillion | 2025 State SD – Vermillion – 5′ 8″ PG – Current Class of 2025 PGH Ranking – 4th
Kasey makes up the second half of the talented young duo at Vermillion with her and Brooke Jensen Brooke Jensen 6'0" | SF Vermillion | 2025 State SD . She is a visionary on the court and operates her team’s offense well. Pairing up on the SD Attack squad as well the two of them make for a lot of fun basketball. She sees the floor well and gives her team many chances to score that others may not see are there. A solid passer and a variety of moves to score herself make Kasey a really solid offensive player. She’s a lefty which sets her apart from a large group of other guards as well. Kasey is a do it all type of guard with a high basketball IQ. She betters her team on both ends and stuffs the stat sheet in every category. A nice game from deep, ability to attack, creating shots for others, and scrappy defense makes her a very dynamic guard and an elite prospect.
Sloane Keszler Sloane Keszler 5'6" | PG St. Thomas More | 2025 State SD – St. Thomas More – 5′ 6″ PG – Current Class of 2025 PGH Ranking – 23rd
Another member of SD Attack, Sloane is an intriguing prospect that fits the category of dynamic dimers as she is able to facilitate for her teammates as well as find her own shot. On a talented St. Thomas More squad she found a lot of varsity experience as a young player. It will be intriguing to see where she fits positionally in their offense, playing alongside the talented Reese Ross Reese Ross 6'1" | SF St. Thomas More | 2023 State SD , but I like her game as a point guard. She has solid handles and sees the floor well which makes her a nice prospect to run the show on offense. A high IQ makes her a threat on the offensive end and her speed and anticipation make her a great defensive perimeter player as well.
Isabella Anderson Isabella Anderson 5'7" | CG Milbank | 2025 State SD – Milbank – 5′ 7″ PG – Current Class of 2025 PGH Ranking – 8th
A Milbank Bulldog and a member of SD Network in AAU ball, Anderson is one of the more exciting guards you can find out there and comes in as part of the top 10 athletes in her class. She has great intensity and a desire for competition. She runs the floor really well in transition from the perspective of getting out wide as a wing and scoring, as well as finding her teammates for open looks off the dribble. Need a passer with great vision? Check! How about a guard who can attack and finish with contact? Check! A long, scrappy defender who gets after her opponent maybe? Check! This kid gets it done at all levels and plays with great passion and energy. She does a lot of everything for her team and looks to solidify her spot as one of the top prospects in the Class of 2025.
Lennix Dupris Lennix Dupris 5'6" | PG Pierre | 2025 State SD – Pierre – 5’5″ PG – Current Class of 2025 PGH Ranking – 10th
A talented guard with great vision, a quick release and consistency from three, a high IQ, and a desire to win makes Lennix an easy addition to this elite group of prospects. My favorite part of her game has to be watching her operate as a guard in the pick and roll game. She plays all elements really well reading the defense to be able to stop and pop the three, get downhill and score at the rack, and find her teammate on the roll with spot-on passing. Great energy, intensity, and support for her teammates make her a quality point guard who looks to continue to get even better as she still has room for growth. Lennix has great footwork and utilizes the hop to get in rhythm and get her shot off quickly. She is a true combo guard who can create opportunities for her own shots as well as give her teammates chances to score.
