Continue Reading2025 is growing as a rankings class, we have 35 names on the list as it stands right now, but we were able to identify 7 more players for the list this session with hopes of adding another 20 names to the list by the end of the year. We are out watching these girls and they are now starting to show themselves on teams and we intend on reporting on all of them in the near future. So with no further to do, here are the (7) New-Comers to the 2025 rankings this edition.
Destin Emmert Destin Emmert 6'1" | PF Analy (Sebastopol) | 2025 State CA | 6’1 PF| Analy Sebastopol – Big with a nice feel for the game, she is agile can run the floor and finish, rebounds the ball very well and is capable of blocking shots in the paint. She can shoot the midrange shot, catch and seals in the paint, but what is special is she can pass the ball in transition to teammates for buckets.
Kami Gillis Kami Gillis 5'8" | CG Escondido Charter | 2025 State CA | 5’7, CG| Classical Academy – Nice size guard that can get out in the lane on the break and finish, can pass the ball, can attack off the dribble from the freethrow line. Nice midrange shot as well as a three point shot, but her strength is getting to the rim and getting a easy bucket. Can also rebound the ball for her size and can start the break and assist her teammates.
Nina Cain Nina Cain 6'1" | PF McClatchey | 2025 State CA | 6’1 PF| McClatchey HS – Nina is a special, she is already starting to garner some college coaches that want to verbally offer her, she is agile and athletic, she can score the ball a lot of ways and she is a team leader as a 9th grader. We gonna keep watching this one, she will grow with each and every game she plays. Coaches, special one here.
Ryan Nair Ryan Nair 5'4" | PG Woodcreek | 2025 State CA | 5’4 PG| Woodcreek HS – fast and speedy guard that can handle the ball and take charge of her team on the floor. She is a defensive menace to her opponents, averaging 4.4 steals per game for her high school team. She can score when needed and she proved that as we watched her this past weekend, getting to the rim and knocking down some key shots for her team. She is as quick as a cat and that is why she is able to use those fast hands to get steals and turn those into points for her team.
Tierra Taylor Tierra Taylor 5'8" | PG Corona Santiago | 2025 State CA | 5’8 PG| Corona Santiago HS – Good size guard with a great set of skills for the game, she scored some major points in the finals for CIFSS. She was a major part of the Sharks offensive attack as a freshman and is going to get better with time as well.
Emery Tubbs Emery Tubbs 6'1" | SF Corona Santiago | 2025 State CA | 5’10 SF| Corona Santiago HS – Good skilled combo/forward with a nice skillset that allowed her to play some major minutes this year for a young shark squad. This kid was dynamic and was not afraid about mixing up with older players and putting in some major work for her team this season.
Jayda Cobbs Jayda Cobbs 5'9" | SG Corona Santiago | 2025 State CA | 5’9 SG| Corona Santiago HS – Another guard who we were impressed with and decided we needed to add them to the rankings, made a great game showing against the defending CIFSS champions Corona Centennial this season. We were really impressed with this team and the young girls that represented for them.
