I’ll check on Team Lex 3SSB Prime 16U next month, 4 of their incoming freshmen, Amari Byles, Rieyan Desouze, Kamora Pruitt, and Amayah Garcia have received multiple D1 offers, no you don’t have to be in high school to receive an offer, my daughter received her first D1 offer in the 6th grade and I have to add Jacy Abii to the list of receiving an onslaught as well and the one thing this should prove already said, they JUST DID IT because they can play, and no matter what foolishness you read, hear or repeat, the circuit doesn’t matter yet there are several other players out there who also have or will be blown up
Salena Carrasco (DFW Elite 16U EYBL) @Salena_BBB
Carrasco has exploded on the circuit with her new squad, yet that’s no surprise to me after catching her in the 6th grade and observing her skillset. I told her “we have the same initials and I know what’s coming” and I’m sure she thought I was insane yet her poise under pressure at that age told me a lot and her desire to keep getting better just stands out over and over. She scores off the dribble and sets the defender up nicely to do that because she also has the mid to long-range working. Solid ballhandling and she sees the floor
Jamari Milton (DFW Elite 16U EYBL) @jamari_milton
Milton has the right mindset and it’s “you won’t outwork me” and she shows it every time she steps onto the court. She attacks the rim from a variety of angles and her finishes are both strong and acrobatic, yes that includes after contact. I also enjoy watching her in the open court where she can be going full speed and make the 20-plus foot pass on the money yet she also can keep the ball and drop the stop and pop in transition. Her on-the-ball defense is smothering, she understands how to force turnovers with pressure
Ti’ Heiress Davis (Oklahoma GOC) @HeiressTi
Davis impressed me so much when I caught her a couple of years ago, maybe 3, because I JUST KNEW what was coming. When you can do things INSTINCTIVELY at a young age, and you REACT to certain situations on the court, I know where the bar has been set. Fast forward to now, her explosiveness both off the dribble to score as well as off the ground to rebound has overly impressed me because “she never takes a play off”, this includes diving for loose balls and whether she’s taking over a game and scoring in droves or seeing the floor as well as playing the passing lane, she is making things happen
Maddie Vickery ( Kansas SSA Gameball) 2027 @VickeryMaddie
Vickery sounds like VICTORY and that was what she left Texas with after starring at my #AllEyezOnMe Individual Showcase before an overwhelming showing at the Texas State team camp. She’s long and athletic, she stands at “the magic number” which is 6’0 and she blocks shots so well at this stage I bet she sets some records in high school. She also scores around the basket, after contact but her midrange game s going to create some problems because, at her size, she can also attack from the wing which will keep the defender guessing
