Kaya Weiskopf Kaya Weiskopf 5'11" | CG St. Lukes | 2024 State NewE | Empire State|5’11’’| CG
I saw Weiskoph play one game at GymRat Live; that was enough for me to recognize her as a top 25 talent. Her size, versatility, and shooting acumen separates her from other ’23 prospects. She can play the 1-3 comfortably and is an excellent decision-maker with the ball. I also like how she isn’t stagnant as the off guard and uses screens, reads the defense, and can light it up from downtown. Not only is she a versatile offensive player, but on defense can also be relied upon to guard multiple positions.

Jillian Huerter Jillian Huerter 5'10" | CG Kent | 2023 State NewE | Elevate NYBC|5’10’’|CG
With Huerter announcing she is transferring to the Kent School in thefall, this now makes her a part of the New England rankings; and she has top 10-15 ceiling written all over her. I saw only a little of Huerter this spring (GymRat Live and Atlantic City) and was drawn to her playmaking. Huerter’s eyes are always up, and she has excellent court vision, constantly finding the open teammate. She can also create for herself, carve up the defense with a crafty handle, and is a confident, contested shot maker.

Nalyce Dudley Nalyce Dudley 6'1" | PF New London | 2023 State NewE | CBC|6’1’’|SF/PF
I first saw Dudley at the NYG Super 64 Camp in Springfield, Massachusetts, a month ago, and she was one of the best players who attended. From then on, every time I saw Dudley, she consistently was one of the best players on the court. Her size and physicality initially draw you to her, not to mention she has one of the best motors at the position. She is a combo forward who is a nightmarish matchup because she can easily face up and score from the mid-range off the dribble. Dudley confidently elevates over the defense and shows she can get whatever she wants from 15 feet and closer.

Kayla Henry Kayla Henry 6'0" | SF Watkinson | 2023 NY | New Heights| 6’1’’|SF
When I saw Henry at GymRat Live, I thought she used her 6’1’’ frame well. Henry will bang down low in the post and fight on the glass for rebounds but also has the quickness and foot speed to be impactful on the wing. She is a high IQ prospect. I noticed how well Henry moved without the basketball and did little things like screen setting and timely face cuts.

Paige Fourtin Paige Fourtin 5'5" | PG Notre Dame Fairfield | 2023 State NewE |BattleCon|5’5’’|PG
Although not the tallest point guard, I like Fourtin’s upper body strength for her height. She was on fire at the New England Showcase a couple of weeks back and was burying threes at an alarming rate. Fourtin is assertive and attacks with purpose. When she comes off screens, Fourtin looks to be aggressive and score. If the defense closes out lazily, she does not hesitate to pull the trigger and make them pay. Overall, I like Fourtin’s approach to the game, and I think she will have a big summer.

Kassidy Carrano Kassidy Carrano 5'6" | SG West Haven | 2023 State NewE |BattleCon|5’5’’|SG
What I like about BattleCon is how tough their guard play is. Add Carrano to that group of prospects who digs in, competes hard on defense, and can knock down perimeter shots. I liked how Carrano has the skill set to mix it up on offense. She isn’t solely dependent on her catch-and-shoot ability. She will use shot fakes, put the ball on the deck to get into the paint, and display various finishing moves at the basket.
