Amelia Hanscom Amelia Hanscom 5'10" | SG Andover | 2023 State NewE | NE Crusaders|5’11’’|SG
Hanscom’s progression from week to week did not go unnoticed, and she had top 30 impact all spring long. On both sides of the ball, Hanscom was imperative to the Crusaders’ success due to her versatility. She can handle the ball, play both inside and on the perimeter on offense, and defend the post on the other end. She has been an excellent decision-maker and passer while constantly putting pressure on the defense with her scoring around the basket.

Sofia Berisha Sofia Berisha 6'0" | SG Winchendon | 2023 State NewE |NYC Gauchos|6’0’’|SG
Berisha is another prospect I like because she doesn’t have to score to be a high-impact player. She is a confident ball-handler in the open court who can ignite the fast break herself or with a solid on-target outlet pass. Berisha uses her size and body well on the glass, always puts a physical box out on her opponent, and reads the ball off the rim well. She is also one of the better help-side defenders I watched over the spring. Not to mention she is an accurate long-range shooter. Berisha’s versatility and skill set allow coaches to mix her in with an array of different lineups.

Mya Zaccagnini Mya Zaccagnini 5'7" | PG Holy Cross | 2023 State NewE | CT Starters| 5’7’’|PG
Zaccagnini is a bonafide scorer. She has been filling up the scoring column all spring long and was lethal from any spot on the court. Her speed and athleticism are elite, and she made a living beating her defender off the dribble and getting into the paint. Zaccagnini is also a very good shot creator and maker off the bounce and has unlimited range from the perimeter.

Elise MacNair Elise MacNair 5'11" | SF Old Orchard | 2023 State NewE |Maine Attraction|5’10’’|SG/SF
MacNair always stands out when she plays because of her size and physicality at the off-guard position. The lefty wing is powerful when driving with her strong hand and can also open up the floor with her shooting. MacNair is a sneaky, good ball-handler, too. She does a good job creating space between herself and the defense to get her shot off clean and has a good isolation package that aids in her getting to the rim.

Ahtiana Benway Ahtiana Benway 5'6" | CG St. Mary Academy Bayview | 2023 State NewE |Boston Showstoppers|5’6’’|PG
Benway is one of the most electric scoring point guards you will find and can bury three-pointers consistently no matter how hard the defense closes out. Benway keeps her center of gravity low and has one of the tightest handles around, needing limited daylight and space to let off a long-range bomb. Benway’s performances have landed her a couple of college offers this spring that shouldn’t surprise anyone if they watched her light up the scoreboard.

Amani Abuhatab Amani Abuhatab 5'6" | CG West Haven | 2023 State NewE |BattleCon| 5’6’’|CG
I saw Abuhatab play for the first time two weeks ago at Select Events New England Spring Showcase, and she instantly became one of my favorite players to watch. She is a high motor athlete who is a terrific rebounder at her position. She was outworking her opponent and dynamic every possession in the open court. Abuhatab found a lot of success in the midrange, where she continuously created offense for herself off the bounce. Despite only watching her in person once, Abuhatab’s shooting accuracy and rebounding were enough to catapult her into the top 65.

Ava Sollenne Ava Sollenne 5'6" | CG St. Luke's | 2023 State NewE |Empire State| 5’6’’|CG
I saw Sollenne a couple of months back at GymRat Live in Albany, New York, and she was one of the best players. She can play both the 1 and 2 and, despite being a smaller prospect at the off-guard spot, showed a lot of confidence in her scoring ability against bigger wings. Sollenne’s jump shot is pure, and she can hit off the dribble and catch. I also like Sollenne’s patience when handling the ball. She doesn’t let defensive pressure speed her up and is a smart decision-maker with the ball.

Samantha Reale Samantha Reale 5'8" | CG Bishop Feehan | 2023 State NewE |NEX|5’8’’|CG
Reale has had a consistently great spring and has been a factor on both sides of the ball. Every time I have watched her play, Reale immediately impacts defense, usually with a deflection in the passing lanes. Her wingspan is enormous, and Reale’s athleticism and instincts make her a game-changing prospect on defense. Reale also will aggressively slash and is good at initiating contact and getting to the free-throw line.

Madi Forman Madi Forman 6'2" | PF Natick | 2023 State NewE |Bay State Jaguars|6’2’’|PF
I watched Forman at her Bay State Jaguars practice the other week, and I was a huge fan of her offensive game. She is a stretch big who can consistently hit the trail 3 consistently and has a soft shooting touch in the post. Her size and strength can overpower defenders on the block, but she can also handle the ball and be a factor in the high post and wing. Forman is also a strong passer who sees the floor well and can deliver an on-time, accurate pass to her teammates.

Av Giansiracusa Av Giansiracusa 5'8" | CG Mercy | 2023 NewE | CT Storm|5’8’’|CG
I saw Giansiracusa early in spring, and I liked how well she moved without the ball. She understands spacing, relocated along the perimeter well, and was constantly in motion. In transition, she runs the floor hard to get to her spots behind the line and sells her shot fake well to get the defender in the air to get her shot off clean. Giansiracusa can also slash and get to the basket. She plays through contact and is aggressive on her drives when the defense runs her off the three-point line.
