This year’s field featured 22 teams from all across the country. Only two Maryland teams participated this year, Elizabeth Seton and St. Vincent Pallotti, but there was plenty of talent at the two host locations, Hood College and Frederick Community College.
Lauren Pallotta Lauren Pallotta 5'9" | SF Massillon Jackson | 2023 State OH , Massillon Jackson (OH), 2023, Guard
Savvy lefty guard with deep range on her 3 point shot. Exceptional athlete, solid passer and good team defender.
Leena Patibandla Leena Patibandla 6'1" | CG Massillon Jackson | 2023 State OH , Massillon Jackson (OH), 2023, Guard
Big time athlete with excellent length at 6’2″. Slasher with quick active hands on defense. She came up with quite a few blocks, deflections and steals. She contests everything near her. Uses her jumping ability to rebound over people. She has committed to Wisconsin.
Teegan Acres Teegan Acres 5'10" | SF Hamilton Southeastern | 2023 State IN , Hamilton Southeastern (IN), 2023 Guard
Teegan was the best shooter I saw at the event. She has a quick release and college range on her 3 point shot. She is also a solid playmaker and ball handler. She has good size at 5’10″ and is holding some D1 offers already.
Riley Makalusky Riley Makalusky 6'2" | SF Hamilton Southeastern | 2023 State IN , Hamilton Southeastern (IN), 2023, Wing
Riley’s length jumps right out at you. At 6’2″ she has legit size and a nice stroke from college range on her three pointer. She can put the ball on the floor and finish at the rim through contact. Good vision and a nice passing game. She recently committed to Butler University where she will be an immediate impact player.
Kylie Liebacher, Margaretta (OH), 2023 Wing
Kylie has an aggressive scorer’s mentality and plays bigger than her 5’10″ frame. She has good footwork in the post and some up and under moves. She is good off the bounce and handles ball pressure well, using her physical strength to create space. She knocked down some three pointers so she definitely has range on her shot. Rebounds well and is a willing and active defender.
