Molly Seifert Molly Seifert 5'7" | SG Lucy Beckham | 2026 State SC – Lucy Beckham HS (Mount Pleasant)
Seifert saw good minutes last season for the Lady Bengals. Molly likes to set up shop out behind the three-point line as a spot up shooter. She tends to have good selection and shoots the ball at a good clip.
Malaya Mazyck Malaya Mazyck 5'8" | CG Wando | 2026 State SC – Wando HS (Mount Pleasant)
Malaya is a very athletic wing player who really can get disruptive in the passing lanes. Mazyck has good versatility to bring to the floor where she can play 1-3 positions at any time. Malaya excels in the transition game and getting out and going working the baseline at times.
AVA RUSH AVA RUSH 6'2" | SF First Baptist | 2026 State SC – Oceanside Collegiate (Mount Pleasant) (pictured on front)
Rush is a new name to start monitoring down in the Low Country. Ava made some noise earlier this month at the Jackie Carson Camp at Furman University. She continued her solid play today here at CSU Team Camp. Ava is a live body who is constantly moving on the floor towards the ball. Rush doesn’t play the game as a freshman to be with her aggressiveness.
This Mount Pleasant area has PLENTY of young talent coming up in the years to come. Not just in this class – all the classes.
Maliyah Birch Maliyah Birch 5'3" | PG Northwood Academy | 2027 State SC (2027) – Northwood Academy (Summerville)
Maleya is just going to be an 8th grader for the Lady Chargers. Birch plays with her older sister and plays for her mother Ginnell Curtis on this roster. Maleya plays the game with a bit of a fearless attitude for her young age already. She likes to play the game in attack mode at times and shows the willingness to finish drives at the cup.
