Check out my analysis on some of the top performers from the Elite 365 Red team, from their play in the Alodia Sports Light It Up Shootout! All of these ladies are currently in the 2025 class, and are all from the Tomball area in Houston!

Aubrey Mckenzie 2025 Magnolia High School (365 Elite Blue)

Aubray is an aggressive defender at the guard position who has a real knack for turning defense into offense through the way she plays the passing lanes and her intense on ball defense. I was very impressed by her on court awareness on the defensive end of the court, routinely jumping the passing lanes and baiting her opponents into lazy passes. Where I was blown away was her ability to play in the zone and actively defend the perimeter, even when she is responsible for covering two opponents. She uses her quickness and motor to dart back and forth and follow the ball, allowing her big to stay home and protect the rim. I loved her aggressiveness in the open court, routinely getting into the paint and forcing a second opponent to come react. Another big aspect I loved about her game was her positiveness and how she carried herself as a teammate, always the first one jumping off the bench to cheer on a teammate when she is not on the floor and keeping her teammates heads up when they miss free throws. I would like to see her work on her decision making with a live dribble and working to make sure each of her passes are done with a purpose.

Camryn Swiney 2025 Magnolia High School (Elite 365 Blue)

Camryn is a confident shooter across all three levels of the floor, who loves getting to her spots in the midrange and rising up off the bounce. Her ability to hit shots up and down the court really stood out. I also loved watching her operate out of the triple threat, manipulating her opponents with jab steps and the constant pressure she put on the defense by attacking the rim. Her ability to put the ball on the floor and get to the rim also forced the defense to sit back to cut off her driving lanes. I also loved watching her natural point guard instincts, constantly setting up her teammates with good passes in the full court and the half court. I also loved watching her fire good entry passes into the post, right to the spot where only her bigs could get it. I would like to see her get more aggressive, especially when she is handling the ball and putting pressure on the defense with how well she can get up and down the court. Once she begins hunting her shot with more consistency, she has all the tools to become the ideal combo guard.

Karsyn Camp 2025 Magnolia High School (Elite 365 Blue)

Karysn is the ideal wing/ forward prospect with her activeness and aggressiveness in the paint, both on the glass and attacking the rim. She constantly grabbed rebounds and quickly put them back up getting effortless second chance points through energy on the glass. Her energy was not only evident on the offensive side of things, but also defensively grabbing boards and keeping her head up to make the right outlet passes. The thing that stood out the most to me was her effectiveness in the pick and roll. She screened her opponents hard and quickly rolled to the rim for an open passing option. She even showed an ability to get off a soft floater as she is screaming down the lane. She quickly turned and used her back to keep her defender away from the ball, and allow her finishes to be even easier. Her ability to quickly attack her matchup allowed her to score before the help defense came over. I would like to see her work on her passing and decision making, and continuing to improve her confidence with a live dribble.

Shelby Harris 2025 Tomball High School (Elite 365 Red)

Shelby is a confident wing prospect who has great hands and a quick release, and has a lot of versatility in her game. She is great at playing out of the high post, keeping the ball up high and away from her opponents, and firing good passes to cutting teammates. Her accurate passes hit her teammates in a good spot to allow them to quickly get a shot up. Her shot making ability, paired with her aggressiveness allows her to be a complete weapon on the offensive side of the ball. On the glass, she is a very consistent rebounder who loves to fight in the paint for positioning. She showed good decision making on her outlet passes after defensive rebounds. Defensively, she is an intelligent help defender who is great at coming over at just the right time to affect her opponents shot.

Delaney Loang 2025 Tomball High School (Elite 365 Red)

Delaney is a skilled guard who confidently turns the corner on her opponents with a live dribble, and showed an ability to move off the ball into space. Her awareness on the offensive end of the court was eye opening, constantly checking into weak spots in the defense and forcing the attention of the defense to be turned to her. She constantly moved into space and cut backdoor, really forcing her defender to key on her. I loved watching her put the ball on the floor and attack the rim, constantly slashing and drawing multiple defenders on her way to the cup. I would like to see her work on her decision making, and making the pass come a bit earlier as she is drawing the defense’s attention almost every time she touches the ball.
