Kendall Kane Kendall Kane 6'0" | SF Beachside | 2025 State FL (CG, Bartram Trail, 2025) At 6,2″ Kane is one of the best three shooters on the First Coast and is one of the top 2025 shooters in the State of Florida. Kane can flat-out shoot the ball and she’s been shooting it since I first saw her as a 6th grader. Kane led Bartram in threes as a Freshman with 43 tres in 24 games. In the Spring AAU Kane has been singled out numerous times for her three-point shooting. Kane has shot it well this summer and is primed to have a special live period.
Fantasia James Fantasia James 5'10" | SF Oakleaf | 2023 State FL (SG/F, Oakleaf, 2023) James is one of the the most versatile three-point shooter on this list. In the 2021 – 2022 season, James knocked down 44 threes as a Junior, equalling her output as a Freshman and Sophomore. James is a tenacious player who has always been a force on the defensive end, but her three-point shooting has evolved into a special part of her game. In the District finals, James went for 30 points and knocked down 6 threes to take the title for the second consecutive season.
Ella Stakem Ella Stakem 5'7" | SG Bolles HS | 2024 State FL shoots the three with little or no effort. Her shooting motion is as smooth as it gets and she is a master at the catch and shoot game. She is always ready to let the three-ball fly. Stakem also has a nice float game to compliment her three-point shooting. If overplayed for the three-point shot, Stakem can take it in the paint. Stakem is one of the most aggressive shooters on this list. Stakem was knocking down the threes recently in a summer game at Providence High School.
Abby Knauff Abby Knauff 5'9" | SG Bolles | 2025 State FL G (Bolles 2025). had a special season last year and was special on defense, drives, and from behind the three-point arc. The Freshman knocked down 53 threes last year In limited AAU play this year, Knauff has been amazing, showing her all-around game and her ability to knock down threes in any situation during the game, including pull-up threes in transition. She has shot it well this summer and is primed for a great live period in July.
Kennedy Rosendahl Kennedy Rosendahl 5'6" | SG Ponte Vedra | 2024 State FL Rosendahl is one of the best shooters in the State of Florida in my opinion. I have watched her shoot the three for the last 4 seasons and she can shoot with the best of them. As a Sophomore, Rosendahl connected on 74 threes and helped lead Ponte Vedra to the District Title. She has been knocking the threes down consistently in the summer league and has added a dribble drive to her game.
Taylor Perce Taylor Perce 5'10" | SG Ponte Vedra | 2024 State FL recently knocked down 5 three-pointers in one game and a total of 6 three in one night. Perce is shown the ability to knock down the three as of late and is emerging into the role of a consistent shooter. Her Junior year should be the year that she puts it all together from behind the arc and on the floor in general.
Kamiya Jones Kamiya Jones 5'6" | SG Oakleaf | 2023 State FL is probably the most fiercest three-pointer shooters on the First Coast. She has no consciousness. She has the mentality of a shooter. Last year she went 1 for 18 in a game and she probably gained a lot of respect for just staying with it. The coach “might” not have thought so during the game, but if that does speak of Jones’s heart, confidence, and determination nothing will. On the contrary, Jones connected on 8 threes in a game versus Columbia last year. Jones finished the season with 58 threes. She’s looking to improve on that statistic in her senior season and also improve on her three-point percentage while keeping that shooter’s mentality.
Regan Chappell Regan Chappell 5'7" | SG DME Academy | 2024 State FL . Chappell has a good midrange game but can let the three-ball fly. Chappell can score threes in a flurry. When she gets into a rhythm, her efficiency goes way up. Of all of the names, Chappell is the one who mixes a strong midrange game with her three-point shooting.
Ella Ortman Ella Ortman 5'7" | CG Providence Of Jacksonville | 2023 State FL G (Providence 2023). Ortman is another aggressive three-point shooter. This past season Ortman knocked down 57 threes. Her Freshman year Ortman dropped 65 threes on opponents. Her game has grown significantly since then, including her defense, her ability to handle the ball and getting her teammates involved. Ortman is shooting it well this summer and is looking for a special live period in July and a great Senior season.
There are numerous great three point shooters on the First Coast who we haven’t seen during the summer league, including Taliah Scott Taliah Scott 5'8" | SG St. John's Country Day | 2023 State #31 Nation FL who is the number one three point shooter and player on the First Coast and possibly in the entire State of Florida. A few other good three point shooters include Morgan Gavazzi Morgan Gavazzi 5'6" | PG Ponte Vedra | 2024 State FL (2024 Ponte Vedra) Mary Kate Kent Mary Kate Kent 5'6" | SG St. Johns Country Day | 2024 State FL (St John Country Day 2024), Kendall Shorstein Kendall Shorstein 5'5" | SG Episcopal School Of Jacksonville | 2024 State FL (Episcopal 2024) Camryn Robinson Camryn Robinson 5'6" | CG Nease | 2023 State FL (Nease 2023).
In honor of Father’s Day, a huge shout out to the fathers, coaches, father figures, etc who impact these young ballers in so many ways, and always encourging them to “shoot the ball!”
