Their All-Star Elite Camp just finished up and 19 players ended up making two all-camp teams. In this article, we’ll be going over those who made the second team for this camp.
Mia Lewis Mia Lewis CG Montclair Immaculate | 2024 State NJ – PG/SG, Lodi Immaculate (2024)
We’ve talked about Lewis previously and for good reason as this guard found her stride as a sophomore and took her game to new heights. She’s a fantastic scorer and knows how to find a way to the basket. This is a potential 20-point scorer on a nightly basis, someone who can really make things happen down on the post or from deep. Lewis is a fantastic facilitator as well along with being a strong defender. She plays with confidence and exudes it on the floor.
Julianna Almedia – 5-9 SG, Saddle River Day (2024)
Almedia grew immensely as a sophomore for the Colonial Rebels and became one of their go-to playmakers by season’s end. She’s both a great scorer in the lane and a great rebounder. Her rebounding will go unnoticed, as well as her defense, but she can block, get a quick steal, really anything needed to get a stop. Then, down on the other end, she’ll get a quick basket or draw contact to get to the foul line.
Alyssa Cueto – 5-5 PG, Union City (2024)
Cueto has all of the traits one is looking for in a point guard: a player able to rebound, facilitate and score. We’re really impressed by her playmaking ability overall and she excels not just in those three categories, but in steals as well. It’s a credit to great perimeter defense and excellent court vision and awareness that gets her in the right positions to cause turnovers, deflect passes or disrupt an offensive set.
Maya Abramson – 5-11 F/G, Gill St. Bernard’s (2025)
Abramson has size and height to her advantage, much of the reason for her early high school success with GSB as a freshman. She’s very much aggressive in the lane on both sides of the ball, goes for offensive rebounds about as well as anyone in the freshman class statewide and has a long wingspan perfect for shot-blocking. Abramson is also a facilitator when needed, but her game is mostly played down on the block and she’s already looking like a seasoned veteran.
