Mikah Edwards Mikah Edwards 5'8" | PG Helias Catholic | 2023 State MO (Helias): A 5’7″ 2023 point guard who was the consummate floor leader in all facets of the game. She was distributing the ball very well in transition and also feeding the low post players for easy buckets. She pushed the tempo whenever possible and she was good at penetrating in the lane to make things happen. She also pulled up for the mid-range jumper and knocked down the 3-pointer as well.
Karlee Ellick (Neosho): The 6’2″ 2023 forward did an excellent job of controlling the action in the paint in the game that I watched her. She scored 22 points and grabbed a bunch of rebounds in her first game. She used her height and length to block and alter shots on a regular basis. On offense, she had good fundamentals as she sealed defenders very well and caught the ball and kept it up high. She scored with a good mix of moves over her left and right shoulder. She also ran the court well and got buckets in the transition game.
Grace Hill (Warrensburg): A 5’11″ 2023 forward who had a solid skill set and operated well within the 15 feet area. Her mobility on the court was excellent and very fluid. She had a nice turnaround jumper in the post and she scored on some nice baseline drives with her quick first step. She had the ability to beat defenders off the dribble either going left or right. She also had a nice shooting touch from the mid-range area off the catch.
Courtney Edwards (Tipton): A 5’11″ 2024 forward who plays a very solid all-around game. She did many good things to help her team succeed. She was constantly hustling for rebounds and loose balls and she was getting into the passing lanes for steals. She is an excellent passer who finds the open teammate. She also attacked the basket well while going either left or right.
Emma Sleeper (Pilot Grove): A 5’5″ 2024 point guard who played a nice floor game at both ends of the court. She dropped some nice dimes in the transition game and she also moved well and scored on some good off-the-ball cuts. She was also a solid defender who had quick hands to get deflections and strip opposing ball handlers.
Cadence Meyer (Brunswick): A 5’10″ 2025 forward who did a good job on the boards at both ends of the court. She has good length and she would catch the ball at its peak. She also displayed a few quick moves when she caught the ball in the low post. She can score with either hand around the basket and she plays good position defense in the post.
Macie Fisher (Canton): A 5’8″ 2024 guard who displayed good defensive instincts and had very good anticipation in playing in the passing lanes. She can make one quick rotation to get in position to make a deflection or steal. She also had quick hands to hawk the ball as well. She is a solid athlete who can also knock down an open 3-pointer.
