The versatile 6’2” forward made her announcement on her Twitter account. She is currently the No. 1 player in the current Prep Girls Hoops Missouri Class of 2023 rankings. Potts received numerous Division 1 offers, but she ended up choosing Nebraska over Gonzaga, Belmont and Creighton.

As a junior, Potts averaged 19.3 points, 8.6 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 3.3 steals for the 29-0 Red Knights. As a sophomore, she averaged 20.7 points and 9.3 rebounds while shooting 57 percent from the field.
