Amany Lopez Amany Lopez 5'8" | CG Putnam Science | 2023 State NY ’23 | G
I absolutely love Lopez’s game, everything about her style of play is fun to watch. She is an aggressive guard no one could stop, she definitely doesn’t have a problem getting by people. She is tough and focused but at the same time he has so much fun out there and is just playing the game she loves. Lopez is precise, her passes are accurate and her reads are quick making her a strong player on the offensive end. Speed is another thing she has that she uses to her advantage. She finishes contested shots and knocks down floaters making her a standout player in any game she plays in.
Ines Goryanova Ines Goryanova 5'8" | PG DME Academy | 2024 State FL ’24 | PG
Goryanova is the commander of the Gauchos team. Ranked as the number one point guard in New England for good reason as she is a vocal leader and takes control of the ball but more importantly, the game. With her unlimited range, knocking down the three while almost at half court and her quick speed and deadly handles no one was able to slow her down. On top of all that she has proven she is a team leader being the loudest on and off the court when it comes to being supportive and cheering her teammates on.
Jada Mills Jada Mills 5'8" | CG Putnam Science | 2023 NY ’23 | SG
Mills continues to impress me. After watching her play in the GymRatLIVE tournament I described her as a combo guard that is great at keeping the offense flowing smoothly and an overall leader/player you want on your team. I saw the same thing in her games at the Rose Classic proving she is a consistent player. Another thing Mills brought out over the weekend was her athleticism, getting three blocks in just one game.
Shanelle Smith Shanelle Smith PG NY ’23 | PG
The Rose Classic game was my first time watching Smith play and I was quickly impressed. Right off the bat she showed off her impressive and strong handles. She dribbles low and with force, handling the ball confidently and not afraid of anyone in front of her. Contact during the game doesn’t face Smith. I like her because she is a quiet killer that can and will do anything asked of her and won’t choke under pressure during a close game or if her coach expects a lot from her.
Olivia Agunzo Olivia Agunzo 5'8" | PG Division | 2023 State NY ’23 | G
Agunzo is a girl with a lot of heart who always plays with energy and effort. I liked her style of play as she kept it simple but everything she did was effective. She is the shooter of this team, takes a lot of shots and makes a lot of shots. Agunzo is never afraid to shoot. She is also a great player to have because you can trust her during live action. She is confident in herself and her abilities. She wants to go out there and play hard and make an impact on the game.
