We’ll be focusing on the upper age groups for this multi-part series, starting with the 16U teams. Between the Mountain and Stroudsburg divisions, at least six NJ programs participated. Here’s a number of standouts from those teams.

Sinaia Stroman-Hills - 6-0 F, Wildwood (2024)

Stroman-Hills looked great for NJ Soldiers’ 16U team during the tournament, finishing strong at the rim and taking advantage of her height in a big way. The most important thing about bigs is their ability to command the lane with their size and length. Stroman-Hills is slowly, but surely finding her stride there and with more playing time, we’re expecting continued success.

Adriana Bristow - 5-5 G, Wildwood Catholic (2025)

The rising sophomore is looking better and better by the tournament, growing into a bigger role as a key guard on this NJ Shoreshots 16U Select team. Her ball handling and dribble penetration has definitely improved and she’s getting more open and more comfortable for mid-range/perimeter shots. Bristow has plenty of time to continue to grow, and these positive steps are great
