This is Part 4 of a series that aims to highlight some of the magnificent players and performances by Michigan players on the circuit. Take a look at Part 1, Part 2, and Part 3 below.
Talyah Beard Talyah Beard 5'6" | SG Regina | 2023 State MI (2023, SG, Michigan Goonies 2023, Regina)
Beard is a terrific 2 way player. She can defend at a high level from baseline to baseline. Beard is an underrated athlete that stays at a high speed for every second that she’s on the floor.
Rakell Brown (2025, PF, MSF Flight 15u, Hillsdale)
Like most young post players, her defense is ahead of her offense, but that’s not a bad thing at all. It’s not bad because her defense was terrific this spring. Brown was a game changer with her post D and her activity on the glass.
Rylie Burley Rylie Burley 5'6" | PG Leslie | 2025 State MI (2025, PG, The Naturals 2025, Leslie)
Burley made her presence known on the PGH Circuit. She’s a downhill lead guard that goes straight line from A to B, and she does it with speed and quickness. Burley will make a lot of noise on the perimeter over the next few years.
Mia Carson Mia Carson 5'8" | CG Stoney Creek | 2023 State MI (2023, CG, Michigan Goonies 2023, Stoney Creek)
Carson definitely made her mark on the circuit this spring. She flaunted a well rounded and diverse perimeter game. Carson was solid off the bounce and could initiate and finish through contact.
Sophia Heady Sophia Heady 6'0" | PF Brighton | 2025 State MI (2025, PF, TC Elite 2025, Brighton)
Heady is a young post with a lot of potential upside. She’s relentless with her work on the glass and doesn’t make it easy for opponents to score in the paint. Heady moves well in the paint, never letting herself stay stationary and clog the lane.
Tanayah Porter (2025, CG, BNB 2025, Grand Rapids Union)
Porter’s athleticism really stood out in Grand Rapids. She was comfortable and effective with the ball in her hands in transition. Porter was a creative finisher on the break.
Abigail Resovsky Abigail Resovsky 5'9" | SF Salem | 2024 State MI (2024, Michigan Lady Playmakers 2024, PF, Salem)
Resovsky is a good old fashioned grinder that a lot of coaches at the next level are looking for. She’s solid with her back to the basket on the offensive end. The best part is, Resovsky does all her work early by establishing position quick, making everything else much easier.
Lauren Spencer Lauren Spencer 5'10" | SG Detroit Edison | 2024 State MI (2024, SG, HYPE Athletics 2024, Detroit Edison)
Spencer was an exciting young player that carried a ton of explosiveness. When she got into a groove, defenses were at times, helpless. Spencer is a prospect with a ton of upside that college coaches should be very aware of. .
Amal Younes Amal Younes 5'6" | PG Walled Lake Northern | 2025 State MI (2025, PG, HYPE Athletics 2025 Stillwell, Walled Lake Northern)
Younes is the kind of player that you want to see with the ball in her hands. She pounds the dribble and attacks with both hands and a fast change of direction. Younes has the look of a big time playmaker when it’s all said and done.
Mia Zorski Mia Zorski 6'0" | C Clarkston | 2023 State MI (2023, PF, PR1DE 2023, Clarkston)
There’s so much to like about Zorski as a prospect. She uses her length and verticality very well on defense, challenging shots and engulfing her opponent. Zorski is a great cutter, going through it fast and pass ready.
