Corsentino has been a star with Rumson Fair-Haven over the past three years, hitting her peak as a junior with the Bulldogs. Right now, the shooting guard is just three points away from becoming RFH’s newest member of the 1000 point club.
Looking back at her junior year, which really solidified everything for her, she averaged 17 points per game, knocked down nearly 2.7 three-pointers a game and improved tremendously in rebounding and passing.
We saw her reach new levels of dominance and put her name in the conversation for good about the best perimeter shooters in all of New Jersey.
She had a career night on February 17, scoring 31 points against Ranney and knocking down seven three-pointers in the process. You don’t see players perform like that every day and it’s tough to find a better shooter than her in the Shore Conference.
In the summer, Corsentino has starred with Team Rio on the AAU circuit, developing a great offensive game along with formidable defense on the other side of the floor.
When watching her play, she plays with confidence and with poise, not getting too overwhelmed in the moment or by the situation. The game just comes to her so easily that it’s made her into a top rising senior in the Garden State.
She joins a program that has been to the NCAA Tournament 11 times in program history and at one point, won 11 straight MAAC regular season titles and 10 MAAC Tournament titles.
They’ll be getting quite the player in Corsentino, who will hopefully guide the program back to the summit of the MAAC and a return to the Big Dance.
