This Camp will be played all weekend starting with Pool Play than the Single Elimination Tournament that will start soon after. This article will discuss some of the top performers from Friday Night’s games.
Sydney Benally Sydney Benally 5'9" | PG Sandia | 2025 State NM led the way for the Sandia Matadors Friday night vs Los Alamos. She scored a game high 22 points in the game and was a pest on the defensive end of the floor forcing turnovers. Sydney scored many points in transition after getting many steals defensively. She did it all for the Matadors and was the teams primary ball handler in the game. Sydney scored from inside, outside and made a few trips to the free throw line. Sydney was without a doubt the best player on the floor during this game. She set the tone from the start of the game and kept her foot on the gas. Sandia defeated Los Alamos 52-36.
Audriana Wright Audriana Wright 5'10" | SF Sandia | 2025 State NM had a huge impact in the game Friday night vs Los Alamos. In a back and forth battle for most of the game, Audriana hit three three-pointers in the second half to help Sandia pull away 52-36. She played solid defense and played a huge role grabbing rebounds off the glass. Audriana finished the game as the teams second leading scorer with 13 points in the game. Each of her three-point baskets came at a pivotal moment during the game when Sandia was making their run to put some separation between them and Los Alamos.
Bella Hines Bella Hines 5'10" | CG Eldorado | 2025 State NM from Eldorado High School had another excellent showing this past Friday night. In Eldorado’s first pool play game in this camp, they faced off vs Navajo Prep. She lit up the scoreboard with her offensive clinic shooting and scoring the ball. Bella led the game in scoring with 28 points. Her play helped Eldorado defeat Navajo Prep 45-32. Eldorado’s next pool play game will be Saturday at 9:00 am vs Menaul High School at the West Davalos Center.
