She is aggressive and looks to score around the rim and is not afraid of contact from her defender. Crashes the boards hard and is able to get the rebound. Good basketball sense and a smart player.
Katie Maier, 5-8 2024, Houston- Jim couldn’t stop raving about her game, and when I watched it she is a very solid player. She plays with a lot of poise and is not a player to back down. She can slash to the rim and score, has some quickness and with good handles, she can make plays for her team. Also can score from the perimeter. Defensively she was a presence.
Chaley Wade, 5-10 2024, West Liberty Salem- Post player who nearly averaged double-double last season. Very hard worker and her post game looked much improved. She has a knack to get to the ball and does a good job rebounding, has a lot of put-backs. Knows where to be and moved quick. Can finish and get to the line.
Emma Ferguson, 5-4 2024, Triad- She really worked hard and showed some good leadership for a team working hard to turn things around from a tough season. Emma was aggressive and not afraid to shoot, got into the paint and has a solid shot. She has a good chance to be a solid guard for Triad this season and be a good leader.
Lauren Dady, 6-0 2024, Vandalia Butler- She will be counted on to be a big producer for Butler this season with the loss of some very good post players. Lauren is an excellent rebounder with a strong body able to protect the rim and defend. Her offensive game will be counted on heavily as one of the primary scorers. Could be a big sleeper in the MVL.
