During the final “live” weekend of the 2022 grassroots season, All-Iowa Attack hosted their annual Summer Finale. With a number of EYBL, 3SSB, BlueStar, and other top programs, it made for an outstanding event well-attended by college coaches from across the country. A few Indiana teams made the trek to The Hawkeye State, and all played respectably throughout the course of the three-day event. Below is a quick look at a few ladies who stood out for one reason or another when I was able to see them on Sunday, July 24th.

– One thing you can always count on out of Kirsten is consistent effort. She was very active at both ends of the floor, but what stood out was how aggressive she played defensively. She was quick to rotations, in her opponent’s face at all times, and she had very active hands and feet. She also looks stronger and more assertive offensively.

, 2023, 6-2 F/C, University H.S., Indy Magic-Scott 17U
– Kelsey had a number of tough matchups throughout the weekend, with several girls able to match her combination of size and skill. But she battled throughout, did a really nice job on the boards, and she continued to show that she can pass and score the basketball at all three levels. Her offensive versatility is definitely her best trait recruiting-wise.

, 2024, 6-0 F, Bloomington H.S. South, Pocket City Basketball 16U
– Abbie continues to become more and more efficient with her play, and she even looked different during July than she did in the Spring. She has always been a nice run-and-jump athlete with a good motor, but she’s finishing more consistently offensively, and she’s showing improved recognition defensively, always in the right spot to help.

, 2025, 5-7 G, Northwestern H.S., Indiana Elite Green 15U
– This was my first opportunity to see Anna in July, and she fit it somewhat seamlessly with her new teammates this weekend. She is a solid athlete who plays hard each possession. She has some ball skill and can handle/create at times, plus she can play off the ball and knock down open rhythm jumpers. She was also very active defensively.

, 2025, 6-0 F, Fishers H.S., Indiana Elite Orange 15U
– Nevaeh certainly looks the part, she has a strong frame, good hands, and she’s a nice North/South athlete who runs the floor well. She is great catching it anywhere inside of 15-feet and making a play, plus she’ll post smaller defenders aggressively. She’s an active rebounder with a nose for the ball, and defensively she can take on multiple positions.

, 2025, 5-8 PG, Carmel H.S., Indiana Elite Orange 15U
– In a deep 2025 class at Carmel, Taryn could be a key member of their backcourt for the next three years. She is a nice athlete, with a wiry-strong frame, good speed and quickness, but she’s also skillful and plays with solid awareness. She can knock down shots, create by attacking, or find open teammates, and I like her activity and feistiness defensively.
