Aubrey Galvan Aubrey Galvan 5'7" | PG Loyola Academy | 2025 State IL
I don’t know anyone who plays basketball with more flair than Galvan. Usually, the flash that Galvan plays with leads to unforced errors, or the person who plays that style is more on the selfish side. None of those descriptions apply to the 2025 guard. She doesn’t make many mistakes with the ball and is one of the most selfless players I’ve seen. She constantly wiggles out of trouble and creates numerical advantages as a result. If you’ve never seen Galvan play, take the time to do so.
Reagan Sipla Reagan Sipla 6'1" | SG St. Charles North | 2024 State IL
The skill that Sipla possesses is evident. She’s a long 6-foot wing who can get her shot whenever she wants and sees the game well. She will never attempt to make a play that’s not there, and that understanding helps her teammates succeed. She doesn’t take “bad shots” or turn the ball over. Her presence makes any team she’s on better by default.
Nailah Mayes Nailah Mayes 5'9" | C Minor | 2023 State AL
I loved Mayes’ game. Everything she does tends to result in a good shot or free throws. She does an excellent job forcing her way to the basket. The fact that she can get there whenever she wants can break defenses over time. Her strength and will to repeatedly attack the basket are valuable.
Mirakle Anderson
I saw Anderson finish around the basket in ways I still question. The finishes she had made almost no sense. If it happened once, I’d chalk it up to luck. However, you could see the spin she was putting on the ball, and the more I saw her do it, the clearer it was that she’s just good around the rim. I don’t know if there was a better finisher on the circuit than Anderson.
Allie Dahl
Of all the 2026 prospects in a talented incoming freshman class in the state, Dahl might be the most impactful right away. She’ll play in Division 5, and her toughness may swing big games. Dahl is strong, skilled, athletic, and efficent in her movement. She scores at all three levels and will likely get a lot of minutes early for a young and talented Albany team. Keep an eye on the Comets this coming season.
