Prospects from every age group are traveling across the country to hoop and get seen. Here is a list of 2025 players that recruiters should get the jump on if they have not already…
Madison Francis Madison Francis 6'2" | SF Lancaster High | 2025 State NY , New York Royals, 6’1″, Point Guard, Lancaster High
At 6’1″ Madison can pretty much play any position on the floor. They have her running the point and that’s fine with me, I’m here for it. She is fundamentally sound, can finish in the paint in both hands, can create off the dribble and finishes like a grown woman. She’s already ranked in the national top 20 rankings and will rack up a ton of offers this summer. Defensively she is a menace in the paint, using her leaping ability to alter and block shots. She will need to improve foot speed if she wants to defend smaller and quicker guards, but I love the fact that she went toe to toe with "Kiyomi" "McMiller" and never backed away from the challenge.
Mariah Shue, York Lady Raiders, 5’3″, Point Guard, York Catholic
Mariah is a dangerous shooter from anywhere on the court, but her specialty is launching long bombs on unsuspecting defenders. She has a nice dribble package that helps her create just enough space to fire away. She also has the ability to catch and shoot off movement and screens. She played off the ball on several possessions, showing some versatility. Mariah scrapped on defense and came up with some steals and rebounds.
Praise Matthews Praise Matthews 6'1" | PF Dallastown Area | 2025 NY , York Lady Raiders, 6’1″, Forward, Dallastown Area High
Praise comes from a family of ballers, with two older sisters playing D1 already. She has a college ready body right now with long arms and elite athleticism to go along with it. I’m not sure what her best position will be on offense, but she is already an above average defender and a strong rebounder. There is a ton of potential here and I am looking forward to watching her again.
Cassidy Kruesi Cassidy Kruesi 5'6" | SG St. Rose | 2025 State NJ , Central Jersey Hawks, 5’8″, Point Guard, St. Rose of Belmar
Crafty point guard with strong ball handling skills and high motor. She is unfazed by ball pressure, keeps her dribble alive and makes good decisions. She has range out to the three- point line and also scores in the lane in a variety of ways. I enjoyed watching her run the show like a true floor general.
"Kelis" "Fisher", Team Thrill, 5’9″, Point Guard, IMG Academy
Kelis has elite skills and fundamentals. She is a terrific ball handler and has really developed her three-point shot. She has grown into her role as a lead guard and has started to collect D1 offers as a result. She plays with a flair that makes her a must see attraction.
