Below are my standouts over the weekend.
’24 Reagan Sipla Reagan Sipla 6'1" | SG St. Charles North | 2024 State IL | 6’1 Wing | Full Package
The IQ mixed with the versatility Sipla posses are two of the main components of her extensive skill set. She can score from the arc to the paint, and her length allows her to guard from perimeter to post. Reagan can be the facilitator, or the main scorer if needed. Smooth, quick, and fluid follow-through on the jumper and the space she creates with her athleticism, handles and length are highly impressive.
’26 Clare Weasler | 5’6 Guard | Wolverinas
A poised talented guard who can play both the 1 and 2, and still make a large impact. Weasler’s ability to create space to score or make plays on a consistent basis makes her a key factor within a program. She can rebound, defend and take over an entire game. Highly competitive and even higher potential.
’26 Josie Hartman | 5’8 Guard | Wolverinas
Hartman’s skillset is deep, and adaptable to any type of team. She has all the tools to play multiple positions when and if needed. She can make plays for teammates and create for herself due to her strong ball handling, high IQ, and the tempo that she plays with. Her upside is through the roof.
’23 Ava Gugliuzza Ava Gugliuzza 5'7" | SG Lincoln-Way West | 2023 State IL | 5’7 Guard | Illinois Elite
A sharp-shooting shifty guard who can get her shot off at any moment. Off the catch, off the dribble, or a last-second heave… Ava’s shooting ability comes with ease. She can handle the ball, facilitate an offense or play off the ball and still have the same-sized impact on the game. Her skillset will translate to the next level.
’24 Kelsey Langston | 5’6 Guard | Midwest Elite
An uber-athletic and aggressive guard who attacks the paint with tons of strength and control. She can run an offense or be the focal point of one. She has the IQ, speed, agility, and strength to defend 1-3 and the competitiveness to switch to the 4-5 if needed. A plug-and-play type of guard that can mesh well with any type of offensive/defensive scheme.
’24 Stella Kohl Stella Kohl 5'11" | SG York | 2024 IL | 5’10 Guard | Chicago Force
A long versatile talent who can legit play the 1-3 and still be efficient and effective. Kohl’s talent is based on the smooth and poised tempo that she plays with. She can shoot the long ball, knock down the midrange or use her length and craftiness to finish around the rim. The length and athleticism Stella has… matched with her defensive IQ, makes her a matchup problem on both sides of the ball.
