The Ohio Girls Basketball Report will host the annual Top 64 Showcase all day on Sunday, July 31, where several next-level prospects will be in attendance to display their game. Not only are there some D1 kids who will be competing, but there are a large number of D2, D3, NAIA and JUCO players worth looking at in Sunday, as the final day of the summer basketball season will see many recruitable players at Pickerington.
Session One in the morning will showcase some of the top rising 2025 and 2026 players from around Ohio. A few to watch who are currently listed among the top 40 2025s according to the latest PGH Ohio ranking includes:
- Emma Clary, South Gallia
- Cy’Aira Miller, Purcell Marian
- Daniah Trammell, Winton Woods
- Ky’Aira Miller, Purcell Marian
- Sophie Chard-Peloquin, Newark Catholic
- Jordan Scully, Sidney
There are several players who I can see move up in the rankings and make a name for themselves on Sunday.
In the afternoon session, the 2023 and 2024 players will take center stage as they look to increase their visibility to college coaches, both in person and online viewing on the TKDS Sports Network.
Several of these kids already have looks from the next level coaches, all levels of play. A few of them land in the latest PGH rankings:
- Kam Grant, Africentric (currently ranked #1 2024) (feature photo above)
- Morganne Postell, Dayton Thurgood Marshall 2024
- Taylor Farris, Oxford Talawanda, 2023
- Kiarra McElrath, Bishop Hartley, 2023
- Neveah Cable, Toledo Notre Dame, 2023
- Mahogany Cottingham, Trinity 2023
There are obviously plenty more to watch tomorrow, and we will have the event covered. It all begins at 10am with action continuing until 5pm.
