Why wouldn’t she be on this list? Musah-Johnson has the look of an eventual top 20 prospect in the country. The PGH Top 250 has the national reach to put her in front of many potential suitors. Musah-Johnson is a beast when attacking the rim and has college ready strength already. She’s a gritty star that will get the most out of her talents.
If you saw Max at the Top 250 as a freshman, you completely understand why we want to see her there as a sophomore. She’s one of the most all around skilled post players in the state. Max has solid footwork and moves really well in the lane. She’s way above the curve when it comes to her offensive game.
Bolton should be on a must see list for a good number of coaches that will be in the gym on September 17. She’s a downhill player that has a bulldog drive that even tough defenders have trouble with. Bolton is physically strong and can shrug off contact, and in fact prefers to initiate it. She can make a huge statement at the Top 250.
Howard would draw a lot of attention at the Top 250. In today’s game, versatility will go a long way. Well, Howard has plenty of that to offer. She’s a threat to score from a lot of different spots on the floor. Best of all, Howard can guard at least 4 positions effectively.
Brumfield is a player that deserves more ink and press. She’s a talented prospect with a lot of upside as a player. Brumfield is a solid passer that can skip a bounce pass up the floor. Brumfield has 3 point range on her jumper and looks balanced on catch and shoot opportunities.
I saw Farr play in Grand Rapids this summer and I’ve become very high on her potential. She’s a leader on the floor, both physically and verbally. Farr can handle the ball with skill and efficiency and is more than comfortable when relied upon to find and get a bucket. Farr could really make a statement and cement her name among the top up and coming point guards in her class.
Highlights
Pschigoda has been improving greatly as a player and deserves this opportunity to show the state that she can be a big factor in the years to come. She’s solid on the glass and a plus defender. As Pschigoda’s offensive game expands, her potential will shine through even more.
