(Napheesa Collier Elite 2023-Olufson): The 6’2″ 2023 Nebraska commit was dominant in leading Phee Elite to the championship victory. She scored a game-high 26 points, along with six rebounds and three assists. After scoring 11 points in the first half, she opened the second half with three consecutive buckets to break open a close game. She hit a 3-pointer early in the game to open the court, then went to work inside with easy buckets on the slip screen, flash post and off the ball cuts. She played with her normal extremely high motor that just wore the opposition down.
Raychel Jones Raychel Jones 5'10" | CG Vashon | 2023 State MO (Midwest United 3SSB 2023): The 5’10″ 2023 wing from Vashon played an excellent all-around game in helping her team to a Platinum Division championship. She scored 13 points and also rebounded the ball well and gave a strong effort on the defensive end. The put her in several iso situations and she responded with some nice takes to the bucket for scores. She hit a Corner 3-pointer and did an excellent job on the offensive boards for putbacks.
Hannah Wallace Hannah Wallace 6'0" | SF Cardinal Ritter | 2024 State MO (Napheesa Collier Elite 2023-Olufson): The 6’1″ 2024 small forward from Cardinal Ritter played a significant role off the bench in her team’s victory in the championship game. She was guarding multiple positions with her length and athleticism with great effectiveness to the point where the broadcast team on ESPNU made special mention of it. She blocked a shot inside and hounded opposing guards on the perimeter. She also contributed five points as she made a pull up jumper in the mid-range and a high-arching 3-pointer.
Shakara McCline (Midwest United 3SSB 2023): The 5’6’ combo guard from East St. Louis (IL) in the metro east St. Louis area scored a team-high 17 points to lead her team to its championship-game victory. She was cash money from 3-point range as she knocked down four triples. She also displayed her quickness to get into the lane and score on a few penetrating drives. She was also a pest on the defensive end as she did a nice job of digging down and taking the ball away from opposing post players inside while also applying on-ball pressure on the perimeter.
Norah Clark (Shock 2023-Diaz): The 6’0 2023 forward from Nixa had a solid all-around performance in her team’s victory in the Gold bracket championship game in the Blue Division. She scored 10 points, but she also stuffed the stat sheet with rebounds and a number of assists. She made some nifty passes from the high post and she’s very skilled offensively from 15 feet in with the ability to drive and a nice shooting touch.
Chantrel “TuTu” Clayton (Lady Brad Beal Elite 2023): The 5’7″ 2024 combo guard from Cardinal Ritter had a productive game as she scored 12 points in her team’s loss to the New Jersey Demons in the Elite 40 Gold Division championship game. She was difficult to stop off the dribble as she could blow by defenders with her quickness or freeze them with her hesi move that led to layups in the lane. She was also dropping some nice dimes to set up her teammates off of her dribble penetration.
Daisha Scott (Midwest United 3SSB 2024): The 6’0″ 2024 2027 forward played three years up and was dominant in her team’s championship game in the 2024 Indigo division. She scored a game high 20 points as she controlled the action in the paint at both ends of the floor. Her footwork in the low post was excellent as she got buckets on a variety of moves. She was also a big factor on the defensive end as she blocked shots and corralled rebounds.
Azaliah Funchess (Della Lamb 3SSB 2024): The 5’10″ 2024 wing player from Lone Jack scored 12 points and played very well in her team’s championship game of the Gold bracket in the Aqua Division. She came out of the gate early very aggressive as she was scoring on slashing drives and offensive putbacks. Her energy was very good as she was getting downhill to the basket early and often. She was very good in the open court and she knocked down a nice step-back 3-pointer off the dribble in the second half.
