(Kingdom Hoops 2024): The 5’10 2024 guard is smooth in all facets of the game. The game slows down for her quite well. She has extended shooting range beyond the 3-point line and she can play well without the ball with her movement. She also has good instincts and anticipation on the back end of her team’s full court press.
Kya Johnson Kya Johnson 5'8" | SF Kickapoo | 2024 State MO (DC Queens 2024): The 5’7 2024 wing from Kickapoo was one of the most physical players that I watched last night. Her physical strength enabled her to play bully ball when she attacked the basket. She scored through contact with ease and she rebounded very effectively against players much taller. She also gets high marks in the motor department.
Breona Hurd Breona Hurd 6'2" | PF Waynesville | 2024 State MO (Kingdom Hoops 2024): One day after giving a commitment to Virginia, the 6’2 2024 forward from Waynesville went out and dominated in her first game. It started on defense when she blocked a multitude of shots, including three on one possession. She was scoring around the basket with ease. When she rebounded, she either made an excellent outlet pass or she led the break herself.
Mikala Washington (Midwest United 2024): A 5’9 2024 guard from Cardinal Ritter who was impressive with her overall athleticism and high energy at both ends of the court. She was slashing into the lane for buckets and she hit a couple of Corner 3s. Her defensive intensity was very good as she created steals and had a few chase down blocks.
Peyton Olufson Peyton Olufson 5'8" | CG Incarnate Word Academy | 2026 State MO (Knights Basketball Academy 2026): A 2026 combo guard who shined in the opening game in all facets. When she wasn’t hitting 3-pointers, she was dropping dimes to open teammates and rebounding the basketball. She can also facilitate offense with her playmaking skills and high basketball IQ.

(Lady Brad Beal Elite 2026): A 5’10 2026 wing player who had an impressive first day while playing up in the 2025 division. She has good length and mobility and she can shoot it from long distance. She has good playmaking ability along with a good feel for the game.
