Continue ReadingThe UTS Lady Elite grassroots program has established itself as a premier program for not just success and wins on the court, but for growth and player development as well. This constant and steady player improvement has helped lead to the success they’ve seen in wins and losses. The UTS Lady Elite’s performance as a program at Run 4 The Roses is a clear indicator of this. Let’s take a look at some of their success as a program and players.
UTS Lady Elite 17u
This team went on a very impressive run and rolled to a 5-1 overall record at Run 4 The Roses, coming up just shy in the Platinum championship game.

Defeated TN Rush Ferrell, 76-53
Defeated Triangle Lady Knights 2023, 48-38
Defeated WI Flight Elite 11th Nike, 60-47
Defeated SMAC Lady Primetime, 61-58

Zoie Bamm Zoie Bamm 6'1" | C Columbia Central High School | 2023 MI (2023, F/C, UTS Lady Elite 2023, Brooklyn Columbia Central)
Bamm is another example of the work that UTS can do with elite upside post players. Just like with Faith Carson Faith Carson 6'4" | C Buchanan | 2023 State MI over the last 4 years, Bamm has shown tremendous improvement. She looks very confident in her post moves and her offensive footwork is improving at a great pace. Bamm was a staple defensively for UTS and was a game changer on that end of the floor and on the glass.
Samyiah Jefferson Samyiah Jefferson 5'1" Detroit Mumford | 2023 MI (2023, PG, UTS Lady Elite 2023, Detroit Mumford)
Jefferson is a strong and physical lead guard that can frustrate opponents that can’t move her. She was a tremendous facilitator throughout Run 4 The Roses. She plays really well with a strong post like Bamm that can establish position on the block. Jefferson saw the floor well and fed the athletes that surrounded her.
Aniyah Stone-Palmer Aniyah Stone-Palmer 5'10" | SF Belleville | 2023 State MI (2023, SF, UTS Lady Elite 2023, Belleville)
I’ve been really high on Stone-Palmer’s upside for a couple years now. She’s always had a great athletic profile, but over the last couple of months we’ve really seen her game take shape. She was an elite defender at Run 4 The Roses. She used her length and athleticism to protect the rim, but also stepped out on the perimeter and shut down her opponent on a consistent basis.
UTS Lady Elite 15u Gold
This team made an impressive run as well, showing some real grit and mental toughness when the games were tight. The finished with a 3-2 record and advanced all the way to the Gold championship game.
Defeated Alabama Southern Starz Robinson 2025, 57-54
Defeated NJ Sparks 2025, 57-44
Lost to Wisconsin Shooters Gold, 38-67
Defeated Phoenix Va 2025, 63-59
Lost to Bluegrass Girls Basketball, 29-40
