Some teams got to shake off a little dust in front of D2/NAIA coaches before D1 coaches were permitted to evaluate on Thursday. Here are some players who stood out in the games I watched:
Abby is undoubtedly one of the best shooters in Florida’s 2025 class. She knocked down multiple three’s in the game I saw while barely grazing the rim. Her shot has really nice form, rotation, and a quick release. I was also impressed with her ability to get by her defender and hit the runner.
Karyzma is a long, athletic wing that can finish inside with a plethora of crafty moves in her bag. Inside, she has soft hands and a soft touch which isn’t too common in high school ball. Outside, she can knock it down with a smooth stroke. And on the defensive end, she uses that wingspan and active hands to create deflections, steals, and block some shots.

Dezuray McGill
Dezuray McGill
Dezuray was too much to handle inside as she had too much size and strength on the interior. She finished really well, controlled the boards, and boxed out hard and properly. I really like how effectively she utilized the shot fake, too.
Jazmine is easily one of my favorite players to watch in the state with the energy she always brings to the court. Her mid-range jumper is hard to defend after she blows by you with that quick first step. She does a good job facilitating and sharing the rock, but she can also score it in bunches from behind the arc or by getting to the rim if her team needs a bucket. On defense, she doesn’t take a break either by moving her feet and using that speed to lock down the other teams guards.

Jasleen Green
Jasleen is a 2026 that is near the top of her class. She’s so tough to stop going downhill, and she can hit it from deep too. Her game is really smooth and doesn’t look raw playing up a level or two in age. I like how well she runs the floor, pushes the tempo under control, and crashes the boards hard.
