The entire ranking list has seen some shakeups in this update. Here’s a look at some of the highest ranked new names in the Sophomore class.
Noe has had a big AAU season and shown she can compete against some of the best players in the south and Midwest. A versatile small forward who has been overlooked because she lives in southern Kentucky but she has started to make a name for herself now. Watch for her to be a top player in the 13th region for the next few years.
Highlights
Brooke is part of a dynamic young core for Madison Central who looks like they can be a Darkhorse in the 11th region this season. Campbell was a varsity role player last season but had a big AAU season this spring and summer and will look to ride that momentum into her Sophomore season and a bigger role with the Indians.
Highlights
Noe’s teammate is another young star who looks like a future difference maker in the 13th region. Aymanni is one of the better shooters in Southern Kentucky and can get to the rim in addition to having deep range and a consistent jumpshot.
Packer makes our list thanks to her long-term upside as a prospect. Aubrey has good positional size and will have plenty of opportunity this season as Bullitt East lost a lot to graduation including 6’6 Gracie Merkle so there is a lot of playing time to be had in the paint for the Lady Chargers.
Highlights
Katie is another player that should be in line for a big bump in playing time this season. Geralds will benefit from some more opportunity with Raven Ennis gone to graduation. If she can become a better three point shooter, her game can take the next step and Katie’s college stock should take off.
